alot of toys do real colourful ugly throw ups, looks like ugly christmas trees. I prefer the old simple style, lots of black and chrome and occasional use of primary colours. Not highlighter pink with pastel outline and glitter spaz looking shines on ugly throw ups with pointless flicks going everywhere. Too many people paint ugly graff these days, theres no fundamentals to it. There is still some very good writers though thankfully.

Was fortunate to get a TKid poster when he was over in Europe several years back in Belfast, absolute gent tbh and running about the famous peaceline wall doing his thing with serious enthusiasm , the lad was in his element. Another cracking video lad🔥🔥🔥

I will always remember REVS for his journal/diary pieces deep inside the subway tunnels. I'm pretty sure there are well over 200 of them. Curious as to how many of them are still there. Would be awesome to trek down into there and see some in person. Love the videos man!

Yo....they closed Tuff City? Damn! I loved that spot. I only painted the backyard once, but I had 2 tattoo sessions with Ces and still have the hoodies and shirts I bought there in 2015. 🙏

Suo brother. At the LES tuff city, Ces was the guy who took the time to explain montana black and caps , high pressure, etc after I got free and moved to nyc.

@@MattyCCollings I enjoyed hanging out there, around 2015 I was going to NYC once a month,I'd stop by tuff city 2 maybe 3 times a trip. I loved that place. I painted out back once but not on the train.

its a disgrace how toys have done wack throw ups on the tcs wall. Ive been painting for 20 years. I only paint throw ups. Out of respect I woudnt do a throw up anywhere near that TCS place. Do writers not get pressed face to face by other writers anymore? Do they just cry online like I'm doing? I dont mind stickers, but people that put stickers over actual tags annoys me as well. Thank heavens no one touched the REVS wall.

Thats Revs wall with Kaves was an old clip before the pandemic… it ironically got actually buffed by the NYPD for a photo opportunity showing they’re helping clean up the streets. But it since got covered up with throw ups. I’m sure i’ll do another video lapping around Dumbo again.

yea i agree with what youre saying. graffiti is contextual. its only as valuable as the context it is within. graffiti is worth more on the streets. you take it from the streets and the price, if you can even put a price on it, drops exponentially

Theres that whole grey area with removing of stuff from the streets especially if somethings about to trashed by demolition etc in a non forced way… or found something in an unusual spot… but the reality of a high resale value on the black market is delusional… the whole Banksy Mr Brainwash game doesn’t actually work like that. It’s crazy people are that thirsty thinking it does.
