I did notice he's been exaggerating his titles lately. Like this "tiny house," how he says an apartment is illegal but it wasn't (it just looks illegal because it's small I guess), or apartments under $1000, but in the video he said you need 3 more roommates for the price, etc. I like his videos for the mini documentaries on New York City, though!

Mmph... $1.625M for a fourth-floor walk-up? At that price point I would look for something with a bit more character (interior & exterior) and with an elevator. BUT... this is nice. I liked the sizing of the balconies, the closet & storage space, and surprisingly... even the food preparation area. Besides the room sizes (which are good) it's about finding the appropriate size furnishings for a space. However, while this is nice (and I do like it), I'd keep looking.

This should be pinned so everyone knows. Here's how big to be considered a Tiny Home, House, etc. Cash either doesn't know or more likely he's doing clickbait... - For almost the past hundred years in the US, the average housing size for a normal family was 1,780 sq ft on average. - This doubled in 2007 when most people started building homes as big as 2,662 sq ft on average. - The Tiny house movement was started in the 70s but got momentum in the 80s. - On average, tiny houses are roughly around 80 to 400 sq ft. These I believe are mostly and legally mobile tiny homes/rv style, etc. needing a plot of land. A small apartment is NOT considered a Tiny whatever. This one in Cash's video is almost 1200sq feet. NOT a Tiny Home. - Average apartment size in NYC since about the 2000 has been almost 900 sq feet. - Legal sized apartment is 400sq ft minimum BUT if it's a new development, or build the city changed the law around '07 or so to 150sq ft of a new and/or renovated apartment, but separately it must have a full kitchen within unit (Fridge, sink, stove with vent above and cabinets) and separate bathroom in unit (sink, toilet, shower). ALL must be in unit to be a legal apartment. If it has one bedroom, minimum size of bedroom is 80sq ft with at least one window and a closet. No window = no bedroom. It's for fire egress. Same with vent. For fire safety.

Thus a dog house sized apartment in new York goes for Millions...so keep your crappy 'living elsewhere is cheaper" comments to yourself if you don't understand BASIC REAL ESTATE SCENEREOS. SMH....Midwest is cheaper...daaaaaagh we all know that!!!!..and fyi...that apartment WILL SELL FOR DOUBLE IN 5-10 YEARS EASILY. OH! but new york crime is increasing and the value will go down as crime gets worst....BS!....keeps going up.. because people forget THE WORLDS RICHEST WANTS TO LIVE IN NEW YORK Because NEW YORK WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST #1 CITY IN THE WORLD❤❤❤❤NOTHING COMPARES TO New YORK.....NOTHING!!!!!

It sucks these tiny apts. The reason why these are popping up is because of landlord greed that charge enormous rents for normal apts. These apts are the alternative.

Meh. People tend to live in New York either because they grew up there or because they work in certain careers. For some jobs it's almost impossible to not spend some time living in NYC.

You've obviously never been to New York. This isn't "tiny" by anyone's standards, other than multimillionaires. This is crazy spacious compared to normal, middle class apartment homes in the city.

@@MosDaft Oh, I've been to New York once in 2019, and I'll never return 😂😂😂. I rented an air bnb in New Jersey and took a bus into New York on day 1. First thing that greeted me when the bus parked at the stop was a homeless female peeing standing right there on the wall. Nobody saw that as weird and they kept walking on. I was shocked. Next I saw was hordes of people walking up and down every single street. I saw tons of smelling trash bags on sidewalks with garbage spilling out of them. Everywhere looked dirty, old, and smelly. The metal grates on the sidewalk floors vented hot carbon monoxide from the subway system and the smell sickened me. Next was Times Square. The entire Times Square was crowded with people with hardly any place to walk or stand. Most restaurants had a waiting time of an hour or more. I vowed never to return to that smelly, crowded city unless I have good reason to do so.

Everyone knows that anyone who owns a lime/neon green Jeep like the one at 1:42 must be one cool, fun-loving son of a gun with a great sense of humor. This universal truth was once again corroborated by the Discover Connection channel in their series where they hitchhiked across America in 30 days - in one episode they were in a residential neighborhood in Alabama, knocking on doors looking for someone to let them sleep at their house for the night, and at one point they knocked on the door of a house with a lime green Jeep out front, leading to one of the best encounters of their entire journey, with a guy named Wade. I highly recommend watching the whole series because it's only 10 episodes, none of which are too long, and the whole series is amazing, but in particular keep an eye out - or should I say, JEEP an eye out 😉 - for Wade. Dude is an absolute character.

I could never live in NYC after visiting it. the cost of living in New York City is substantially higher compared to many other places. The housing prices, both for purchasing and renting, are among the highest in the country. This financial aspect is a significant deterrent. Additionally, the limited living space in the city is a concern. Apartments and homes in New York City are notoriously smaller compared to other cities, often lacking in both personal space and green areas. As someone who values spacious living and nature, this is a compromise too great for my lifestyle.Another aspect is the city’s dense urban structure, leading to a lack of sunshine in many areas. The tall buildings create a concrete jungle effect, which can be overwhelming and diminishes the amount of natural light. This lack of sunshine and open skies is something I find crucial for my well-being. while New York City is culturally vibrant and diverse, the fast-paced lifestyle, noise, and constant activity aren’t conducive to my personal and professional needs. I seek a more balanced, quieter environment where I can focus on my goals without the relentless hustle of a megacity. I would like tell everyone that lives there to get out in the country and away from the big city vibe and see what’s it like to have a huge open back yard with no light pollution to where you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye and hear nature. Props to the people that live there and enjoy it.I’m glad I’ve seen the place and I’ve always wondered if it would be somewhere I would like to live. The people I met there were awesome and super friendly. I just can’t live in the type of environment everyday.

The way cash always says he stays in a luxury apartment is so hilarious considering it's a normal looking two bedroom apartment in a building with a door man so I guess the door man makes it luxury🤔 anyway as always this place is way overpriced that's why New York is a no for me it's a five bed five bath mansion not too far from were I stay in perfect condition for under 600,000 dollars that apartment is almost 3 times the price 😂
