This makes me even more sad seeing Male Cleo and Female Deuce break up all because Cleo family and her horrible sister didn’t except Deuce for who he is. Also I am not happy with the Monster High Reboot where they’re going to make Cleo a another stereotypical mean rich girl. (Like we haven’t seen that so many freaking times in other media 🙄). Cleo had some traits but she was more than that she actually nice because her friends make her humble and check her when she being mean. I mean yeah she was mean to Frankie in the first movie where she was introduced as the new girl. But she was already friends with Clawdeen and Draculaura and she did warm up to Frankie and she treats Ghoula as her actual friend.

Even though I’m of the right age, I didn’t get into MH as a kid, but coming in as an adult with the revival, I was surprised how ironically humanized the characters were with their bios, diaries, etc for a toy line. There isn’t a single Gen 1 monster I don’t love, but I’ve honestly never felt hate for fictional characters before the new show. God forbid they put in the effort to design new characters with their own personalities and backstories.
