I love these short stories. It's no coincidence we hear about this 'cigar' shaped craft all over the world. Just saw a fascinating ring doorbell video showing exactly one of these in the sky zipping past, exactly as the story describes!

Did the Lighthouse chap describe the wind/weather conditions, as what you appear to be describing here Paul has the characteristics of an airship? They still exist today ,as we have one based locally in Southern Los Angeles called the Goodyear Blimp.

Nice one! One of thousands seen each year, down the years, and they are real, not a figment of the imagination, anti gravity flying craft, from where is anyone's guess. The very nature of such craft cannot be easily determined, nor can they be persued, they have impunity to operate by day or night, and that beggars the question, are they manmade, or ET visitations from elsewhere? I've watched three to date, first was 5 weeks prior to Appollo 11, so something, someone is capable of levity flight operation, .... with such tech, we cannot be alone. Alien to normality for sure!
