Oh ok thats refreshing to hear that it followed the book. I'm so used to it being changed but that sucks it was based on the author's childhood.

I read the book and the one that comes after It Ends with Us. I feel like people may like the movie better if they haven't read the book. I felt like there were some key things from the book that were left out and could have helped to deepen the viewers connection and understanding. I think the actors did a great job and were close to what I imagined when reading the book. It did cover a tough topic and it showed how to break that generational cycle of abuse. For that reason I would rate it a B-.
