I honestly think everybody just pitches better and more careful with Trout at the plate since he's clearly your best player. So there are less good pitches to swing at but you also want to swing the bat with him and not take a bunch of walks. Seems like you always hit better with Trout as the team gets better. Trout slump is a yearly thing now but we still love it! lmao

Hey koogs!! Quick idea: kind of like the wildcard slot for the seasons, you should have a wildcard for each tier. That way we can have the best player from the previous tier be a possible pinch hitter or come in for a relief appearance. For example, bronze Joey Gallo staying on the team as a righty crusher 😁
