That arcanine with the cloth thing around their neck was my first fursuit hug, after a friend helped to push me into it, after asking them to hug *that* particular shy person who was backing down at even a glance- yeah that person- Being my first convention, and me being me and extreeeeme social OH DEAR GODS PEOPLE EQUALS DEATH- that first hug was a very big, very welcome ice breaker, even if I could barely manage a squeak in response to questions or comments at the time- I wanted to thank them, and got the chance to, but that lovely social anxiety kicked in, and since they were busy already, I quickly backed down from approaching, or waiting to get their attention so I could thank the fuck out of them for kind of being the hammer that cracked my shell a little. I'm hoping to run into them again, at some point, some con, someplace, and recognize them, just so I can say, "Hey, you were my first hug! Thank you for giving me a hug, that improved and sweetened the entire con, and let me get just a tiny bit more comfortable with the whole- Hey, maybe everyone ISN'T just waiting to take advantage of or otherwise attack me- thanks...! you did a great thing and probably didn't even know it! Thankyouthankyouthank-" tldr: Recognized an arcanine in a picture there from first hug, never got to proper thankies, new goal: thank the arcanine for big ice break and important/precious af memory.

you ALSO get chicken tenders when you go to restaurants????? AYO for me, the best tendies I ever had were on the kid's menu at a really pretty and sorta small diner in the Appalacian Mountains area (I forget what it was called but it was amazing omg) I will edit if I find the name later. I like getting chicken tenders at restaurants because I get anxiety about different food sometimes, so it is just easier to choose an option that I know I like, one that I've had a thousand times before, and almost always has a predictable amount of it. Plus, if I like what my family is getting, I am okay with only tasting a bit of it in return for them getting a little bit of chicken. (also I really like ranch okay sue me). It's just all around a good time. Anyways, I'm glad you had so much fun at FWA. If you plan on coming to Anthrocon as well, I hope you can enjoy that too (I'm from the Pittsburgh surrounding area and it's my favorite city ever).
