Thanks man! I'm super pumped about the boys jersey axe. Matty took a fancy to it and is looking to spark up a trade. I may eventually but I want to keep in in the collection for a while first. I was hoping to have the last part of the vise video edited in time for today but you know how that goes lol.

Thanks Roger! This is the first one I've come across and I'm definitely a fan of it. I really enjoy using boys axes so this will be a cool one for the collection. I do have a buddy on Instagram who's up in Maine and collects Maine axes. He's trying to convince me to trade it to him. I may end up doing it but I definitely want to enjoy it in the collection for a while first. Thanks for watching!

Awesome find on that boys axe or small regular axe either way a perfect size. It will make a beautiful axe when done over and the collection gets bigger lol. Darren

I appreciate it!!! I am looking forward to swinging that axe. I think it will be a great size as a user. I'm still figuring out what kind of handles I want to put on the knife. I'm thinking green linen micarta but may pick up some stabilized wood.

That is quite a rare jersey. I've never even seen that weight. Only a blackjack keen kutter at 2.5. The smallest jersey I've found was a 3lb plumb. Great find man that is fantastic.

I can just picture that knife over a slab of barbeque brisket. Pretty special axe find as well. I wasn't even aware they existed in that weight class. Thanks for the video.

Thanks Brett!!! I'm very excited for both future projects. I'm still mulling over what handle material to go with on the knife. I have some white synthetic material that looks a bit like bone as well as some green linen micarta. I'm leaning towards the micarta I think.

I have a very similar tack hammer from my mothers upholstery kit. Great find on that less common weighted Jersey.

Thanks Joey! I had a number if tack hammers on my hammer rack but they seem to have been commandeered by my wife for her junk drawer and by my 4 year old son for his little work bench I made him. Which is fine by me because it's an excuse for buying another haha.

Killer find with the e&s. I have a e&s made old yank with was one they made for NE handle co that’s 2 3/4 Connecticut and have a 3 pound of the same. I also have some 2 lbs they made.

Those both sound like very cool axes!!! I was super excited to grab this little guy up when I saw it sitting on the bench. Light jerseys and Connecticuts seem like they would be great all purpose axes

In my opinion 2.75-3.25lbs is the perfect work axe weight. This could be one of your great users.

I'm definitely planning on cleaning it up and hanging it. I really enjoy using boys axes so this slightly heavier one I think will fall in that sweet spot/all purpose axe like you're talking about. Now I need to decide on a handle style lol
