Although the deer was “still warm,” the stench could have come from it. I’ve field dressed enough deer to know that some *reek* when opened up, and if the deer in the story was “torn in half” as stated, there could easily be stomach or intestine contents strewn about which would of course be absolutely rank. Just a simple consideration. Great stuff!
@KyDove8
@KyDove8 Жыл бұрын
You are correct but in most Big Foot stories there is a stench associated with it.
@idid138
@idid138 Жыл бұрын
That's a good point. Well, something knocked down a healthy pine, tore the deer in half and carried it along to their camp area, following & watching the group. Maybe bigfoot stink like this from putting the dead animals on their shoulders?
@iservHim
@iservHim Жыл бұрын
@@KyDove8 That's true! And since he mentions the stench later as well, it probably wasn't coming from the deer. I just wanted people to know that freshly d.e.a.d. animals also stink sometimes haha. No biggie
@iservHim
@iservHim Жыл бұрын
@@idid138 Haha this is a good theory. but yeah, I'm not necessarily saying that the stench *was* coming from the deer, I'm just saying it could have been when we first found it. That said, in this story, the stench seems to *not* have been from the deer since it came up later too

Good Evening Chris, back when I was younger, my grandpa and I used to camp in the Okanagan Wenatchee National Forest. We had heard different noises at night back then, I always felt safe with him. My grandpa used to tell us kids stories about how he used to see unusual 😮 animals in the forests, he said that they just want to be left alone, being in their domain. He told us that never cross into someone's territory. I feel for these kids, to have something that close to their camp, glad they were safe.

Chris, I love the stories! Yes, if the forest suddenly goes dead silent--not a good sign! Get the heck out! This IS one thing we noticed in our encounters too. In our Mt. Hood National Forest encounter we were at a newly discovered lake, now called Lost Lake. There was lots of nature noises--however--when we encountered the family of Big Foot--the forest had suddenly gone silent. In our sheer terror--we did not notice this ourselves. It was my mother who remembered this--she commented on how everything had gone suddenly dead silent--it creeped her out. Then Dad noticed it too. This one thing, and then four crying scared, freaked children--finally put some fire in them to pack up the car and get going! In our encounters in the Coastal Rain Forest area--we four kids marveled at how silent the area was, no bird sounds, even. We were from the noisy city. WE craved the calm and quiet. So we really enjoyed the serenity of the woods and the quietness. It would only be much later on in our adulthood(s) that we would recognize this as a sign of why this area was restricted. In the camping area, the forest was alive with sound--but step into this section of the State Park--it grew oddly silent. Bend trees, and mediium sized to large up ended trees knocked over with roots showing--good evidence of a large creature knocking them over--we had no clue. We were just children. The only noise was the wood knocking, which my brothers would answer in kind. ONLY ONCE did we hear "whoop whoop" and all of us whoop whoop back and laughed. Never realizing with what we were engaging. ONLY later in life did we realize. It was our secret play ground. WE unintentionally fed our friend--who left us gifts. Which we later realized is called gifting. We accidentally did all the right things to befriend this thing, coming twice a year--this thing never hurt us. Never physically showed itself to us, but certainly knocked to us as soon as we showed up the very first day in it's territory. A series of knocks, my brothers could imitate easily back. Those same rhytm of knocks would echo back. It was like a signal, "Hi we are here friend, and it was a sign of welcome to us--ah, you are back and all is well." WE left the customary picnic lunch in a paper bag on the stump, left in it's place would be the customary rock. WE would never wait and spy to see who would come either. WE just did not do that Chris. We went off to play in our area, and hike and go check out the view of the coastline. IT was a high up place about 500 yards or more above the camping grounds. Any way, all of your stories continually remind me of little tidbits of memories I have forgotten, and then realize, "oh yeah" I remember that too. So I really enjoy your channel. Thanks so much!! Blessings to you from Oregon.

That was a great encounter story/interview . I've camped in that area and back in the day you wouldn't see any people there . . . ever . That whole Mammoth Mt. - Area has been a bigfoot hotspot forever , Laurel Canyon , Lake Mary , the Horseshoe trail , etc. There was a scary encounter at The Devils Postpile which is about ten miles west from Lake Valentine , a couple was chased out of the area and had rocks and tree branches thrown at them the husband said a branch the size of a 2 liter bottle of soda just missed his head by inches . The couples story was on one of those Cryptid - Ufo channels a few years ago the main story was about UFO's being seen near Mono Lake . Be safe out there Base Camp Chris . . . remember the bigfoot fear the camera more than the gun . Peace

Fantastically Awesome as always, Chris. This show is like no other. It's truly the best. You have the best of both worlds, camping with cooking plus telling Bigfoot encounters. I'm so excited for you. I see you're almost at 100k woo-hoo! Congratulations, before you know it, you're gonna be at a million, oh yeah! I'm so happy to be here to see and to be a part of you hitting all your milestones. That's truly awesome. Stay awesome. 8>

Yet again it seems that the sasquach meant no harm, it just wanted its privacy and to collect its kill. In all of these stories, although the sasquach may try to drive the person/people out of its area, they don't seem to use violence. Intimidation maybe, but not direct violence. If they wanted to kill people, they could do so easily. Of course maybe unexplained disappearances could be explained by sasquach who go further than intimidation, but there is no proof of that. I'm inclined to think they are curious and thinking creatures (even though they could do with deodorant).

There are many stories of them killing. Just like people, there are good ones, there are bad ones. American Indians have many stories of them killing their men, and stealing their women and children.

There has been cases where some are Aggressive and attack and do damage to people's homes or vehicles, etc... Some have even killed people's dogs. They are very dangerous. The Military n Police have had to actually confront and dispatch them before. They just don't publicize it to prevent mass panic/ hysteria.

Yes...they could of easily disposed of this group...but tend to be curious or let there presence known to cause some fear...a mountain lion would be silent up to the moment of attack...c

I Agree Chris. They just want to be left alone. My encounter years ago, let me know this. Simple explanation. It changed my life. Don't go looking for them.

Ya know Chris , I listen to lots and lots of story tellers on YT and absolutely love the scary stories but I really feel like you are the best at doing it ! The only issue I have is I listen to them faster than you can create them lol. Keep doing what you do and thank you.

My late husband and I went camping up At Eleanor Lake above Naramata BC. ….high up on the top of the mountain. there were fallen trees ON THE ROAD, we had to clear to get up there . At about 1:am, something, smelling awful walked around and around our tent for hours; kind of a message to LEAVE. WE rolled up our tent and left as soon as it got light; we never went back.

They don't even need that, they are nocturnal. Fun fact, during the Korean War, 120,000 chinese soldiers crossed the Yalu River undetected and began assaulting Marine positions. It is not hard to go undetected when you are a nocturnal creature

Dear Chris,.. really enjoy your channel and method of relaying the stories. What really keeps my interest and subscription is the fact you are a true beer drinker. I enjoy the fact you always showcase a different beer. The fact that you do that inspired me to start trying "IPAs." Which has been fun! Good luck to ya and keep on keeping on! Good video, it's weird to me that as many of these "encounters" or whatever no one has ever run across a den or shelter or something that they might live in. Not saying I don't believe the stories it just seems odd that all across the country people have these encounters and no one ever sees a home.
