The AI seems to have improved but its kinda useless in big areas since its slow but only speeds up in its rage form. It definitely needs improvement but does show signs of progress!

It's slow does because it toys with It gets faster in rage mode Atleast that's what I saw in the video

You don't get it. Gargitron is faster than you. In big open area, you can barely get away with run + jump movements. But in maps with corridors, it has to slow down while turning on corners and it's your only way to get some distance from it. That's why that nextbot was created for closed maps.

This next bot AI also has a "toying" mode, which makes it so it intentionally slows down when near you, like in a messing with you kind of way to keep you on edge which might look like it's slow

In open areas like gm_construct, it's harder for it to hide, but it are faster than the player. Its traction is terrible, so if you can turn corners well enough at a high speed you can get away.

It would be really funny if Syghma programmed it such that if it sees the player but the player has its back turned to it, it silently creeps up behind the player and just stands there until the player turns around and sees it, upon which it enters a rage state and begins chasing

Gotta say, I like the old face better. With this new face, it becomes discernible, it’s eyes, it’s mouth, all display clear features and even clear emotion. The old face however didn’t have any of that, there’s no connection to human context and Gargitron, you had eyes sure, but they had no context to them, the new Gargitron has eyes that imply a sense of insanity, but with the old face there’s none of that, it’s eyes are featureless and completely vague.
