Been in the K-pop community for over a decade now and yeah, stan culture has changed so much, especially with how territorial individual fandoms can get. At the end of the day, music is music; it's universal. No one owns an artist/group/band, whatever. We all have different tastes and are allowed to explore different avenues of genres, cultures, sounds, etc. Keep thriving, doing you, and loving what you love.

I only stan Stray Kids. I think those of us single stans just don't care for Kpop as a whole? I prefer things like death metal and hard rock so Stray Kids are out of the norm for me and I found them by accident a few years ago. (It's honestly probably just Lee Know, too, lol. He's probably the main reason I even like Skz.)

Altho the term "solo stan" is often used negatively in the kpop community b/c they're often the ones hating on others grps as if the group they stan are the only ones deserving of anything good. These ppl are active in the kpop world- constantly berating other groups and stans. Ppl like u who just like one grp (b/c of interest, not into kpop as a whole etc.) but don't go around hating on others are different :)!
