It Happened! Behind the scenes look the latest PREFAB HOME entering the Market!!

A few weeks ago I was touring new prefab home and was able to get a behind the scenes tour. Keu recently shipped out two homes to Puerto Rico but before they left I was able to get a sneak peak of the finished homes and compare a few differences between the two models. In this video I'm going inside the KEU factory to see what they've got going on and how they're building. Watch and learn more about these modern modular homes and where they're built.

I'm confused about the base price. Their website lists base price for family model as $79.9 Euros, so roughly $82k USD & $117.5 CAD. Have they had a price increase but haven't update the website?

I'm with you, Spring takes it but depending on the interior of Winter, (nothing screams luxury like Black) I may kick Spring to the curb LOL. Keep rocking it Kerry.

Thanks for making the trip to their factory and including finished models! ✈ My1st choice is black trim with slightly darker "warmer tone" off-white, a.k.a. Spring. (Summer looks too much like a laboratory to me.) Definitely not Winter model (no all black exterior), maybe Autumn. In the kitchen I'd put closed cabinets instead of shelves above the kitchen counter prep area.

The little graph you made to explain the shipping from Spain to Puerto points to a major problem on the prefab market: carbon footprint because of shipping. Some, if not most of these prefabs manufacturers are completely forgetting sustainability, not only on shipping but materials, insulation, hvac…. It’s a missed opportunity. I would love to a company like that to come out with a life cycle assessment of one of their units shipped to another continent and compare it to a similar house made locally out of mostly wood. Also the glazed box seems not to have any solar shading device. Good luck with that on sunny warm place. Also for the overall space, clearly a living room could be made separately to a smaller bedroom. No one likes to make their bed so they can sit on their couch. This is not a house you can live in easily, it’s mostly an Airbnbable space.

It IS a hard choice. I like both but maybe the darker with black trim(Spring...which also my favorite season) ..But i like the lighter for the all glass area to sit in..lol. What a great tour and commentary...even the part about how clean they are in factory you can eat off the floor ...As you always do include what we wouldn't even notice just watching and what most wouldn't think matters so wouldn't say it...BUT IT DOES MATTER. Thank you...PEOPLE HIT THAT LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE.!!! ISN'T THIS THE ONE YOU DID A BIT AGO with an interview with the creator/maker...and you both sat in the all glass area in part of the vid? If so , that was another great vid.
