I REALLY enjoyed this one. Brought back childhood memories of OVER sixty years ago. I was in Illinois and I LOVED going out after a rainstorm to see what the local creek was doing. I was totally mesmerized with the power of the water. Amazing how something relatively soft, can do so much change, damage, improvements by just keeping at it. I also enjoyed after the water returned to normal to see the many changes in my creek. SO much stuff was moved, piled on log jams, and the landscape was totally changed in places. It amazed me how that water would erode the banks in a corner. How it could take dirt from one place, and deposit it in another.Yes Daniel, I LOVE this stuff too. And I too have always wanted the before, during, and after shots of the same place. But I also wanted many places at the same time. Today, I wish I had a creek like that where I could station my GoPro on time lapse and catch that.. Nawww, I could never plan that well, let alone execute the plan. Thanks again for taking me back and along with you!! I didn't even fall in this time..

It is so refreshing to see a man acknowledge God and His mighty creation. He gives us so many beautiful things to see and I have always kept my wonder and am in awe of His handiwork. How many times in a day does He give us reminders of His deep love for us and we get stressed or too busy to see HIS GIFTS? I am so very grateful for all He has done in my life and your video was good for me to watch because I needed to slow down and see His creation in your farmstead. Even when the world seems like it is spinning out of control He is in control and that is where I put my trust. Thank you! Keep sharing as it is so needed.

Oklahoma like Texas.... storms when it wants too. It does not ask us if it’s convenient. But we are so blessed to live in these places. One thing good... the pond is full! Many years my dad would have loved that. He’s not that far from you, he’s just outside Atoka, so hope his ponds are nice and full as well. Not a strange video at all. I love seeing all the green and the creeks and the beauty that is Oklahoma. I’m a Texas girl born and bred. But both sides of my family are from Oklahoma. I spent much of my youth at family farms.

Haha. And I'm stacking comments again. I love seeing Earl Dibbles running along with Bella. He's learning how to be an AFH dog - always lead the way! I would love to have your creek nearby. On my place, I'm on a hill, and down near the road, a creek "starts" on my property. My driveway is on flat land. 30 feet south of it, it dips, then it turns into a 5 ft channel down to Hopkins Branch, and from there, flows into Winter's Bayou (which can flood the roads out of here, so I can easlily get stuck after a heavy rain. I lived in Cypress for 43 years. We never flooded until Harvey, but ditch back-up and mud was a constant issue, so when I went land hunting in 2006, being on a hill was my first criteria.

I loved this video honestly. I'm sitting here watching it at 145am & I'm amazed. I absolutely love your property. When I look for one right now, I compare it to yours. Only thing is I get those crazy storms a few days after you. Im in Philly, looking in suburbs & we don't have run offs & good drainage like your area. So all the storms that come in hard, flood out the homes, not the surrounding ditches. Its sad cuz so many homes are being destroyed by it. But I hope one day I find a place just like yours, where I have a creek but its enough away to not flood out my prop. Loved this type of video! Thank u.

Spring time is white water rafting time up here in Maine. Occurs up where the Dead River and the Kennebec river meet Kids go tubing in the creeks, fun times. Everywhere has some kind of weather danger, we don't get many hurricanes or tornados but we get snow measured in feet and January usually temps to minus 30. You live where you're comfortable and used to. Have a great week. Stay safe.

Good to see all is well, people don't realize the strength of Mother Nature. As a New England Coaster, we get reminded every so often with Hurricanes and Nor-Easters (heavy snow storms reinforced with moisture from the Jet Stream). A suggestion, when the dry season comes around, you might want to add another culvert pipe to that Ditch crossing (the first one you visited). It looks like if the storm lasted any longer the water would have over run the crossing and would have started to erode it away. Keep well.
