Part of what makes bass fishing fun is sucking real bad then going home and learning new things and then catching a ton after you learn.

As a lifelong competitor in everything I have ever done, I can understand and appreciate your frustrations. Pray for the pain it causes. When this slump is over and you get the opportunity to feel the elation of your successes from the hard work and dedication you have put in, it will be epic. Believe in yourself! Your family loves you, and needs for you to continue believing in yourself. Those of us who have watched you get back to the Elites, know you have more than the capabilities, and the drive to succeed at this level of fishing. Unleash the Fury!

As a small club fisherman I can surely relate, it tough when you struggle, I fish with my son and we’ve struggled this year too. But I’m blessed that he looks at me after the tournament and says” Daddy I still had fun” even though I feel it’s up to me to put us on fish, it’s still a team event, father and son. So I have someone who’s there with me, who understands the struggle and the events of the day that transpired. I enjoy your channel and appreciate your honesty, May God Bless You, watch over You, and protect You on Your many journeys, 👍👍

As a tournament angler and new KZbinr I totally get the frustrations and the stress this career path causes. But, what I can say is that it makes the victories so much sweeter when you know you’ve continued to grind and never given up. Sometimes you get a stick in the eye, sometimes you zig when you should’ve zagged, but the day it all comes together and you get to see all your hard work pay off is the most priceless moment that a man can ever experience. Keep grinding man!

Thinking about you. I hope you’re alright. Huge fan of yours because you are real. Hang in there and just go fishing. Stop being hard on yourself. Cover water and fish your mechanics. That’s your strong point. The way you cast and the way your lure hits the water. Relax and spend some time with the family. Thanks for the content. I love the blue grass on your video ending.

Bradley it's not YOU driving the struggle bus it's fear, frustration. self doubt ,and our tendency to give too much time to the past. That is extremely hard to walk away from but we gotta shake it. Get back to just being in the moment (sounds corny and too simple) but it does help clear the mind. The path you're on ain't easy for sure, but it is one you can walk and walk well. Keep it up! I've had the opportunity down here in FL to marshal several pro tournaments over the past few years. I've gotten just a taste of the grind that you guys commit yourselves to, then you continue the grind on to the next stop. You have to love what you do. Keep doing it as long as you love it, and be ready to hang it up when the grind takes over. The time away from your family isn't worth the grind if you don't love it.... I guess that goes for any job.

You are having a tough season, but you aren't alone. April and May are more post spawn for Santee Cooper with most fish hanging on cypress with immediate access to deeper water, but I'm not the Elite series fisherman you are maybe we can talk before next season about my home lake, so get off the struggle bus by not pre-planning how to fish and just go fish practices and use your instinct to catch them. You have done it, you can do it and you will again do it. I'm here pulling for you.
