Out of all these videos of the hearings, the question I haven't heard asked is: "Is the U.S. Government, or any government, for that matter, working with any extraterrestrial beings in any manner (e.g., political, societal, biological study, resource or technological sharing, colonization)?" The DOD refused to allow him to meet with Congress in a SCIF, where they can safely discuss classified materials. The Oversight Committee lacks subpoena powers to force such a meeting without DOD's approval. The House Speaker has the authority to create a new sub-committee with subpoena powers, but he hasn't gotten involved, at least publicly, with the UAP topic. Therefore, Grusch cannot say anymore than what he's already said publicly.

I think the reason why so many people are still on the fence about this is because deep down whether they want to admit it or not, this will probably contradict many if not all religious beliefs. We still have people calling those who believe in this crazy, despite government officials now having these conversations in government formats. Yet, we’d rather believe in flying beings and saviors and magic esque beings as grown adults. I think THAT is the reason this is being kept secret more than anything else. Although, another great reason I’m open to is profit/personal gain. Both can also be true. A great example: every time this is brought up, a huge portion of religious people get very defensive and damn near label you a heretic for even suggesting these things. Humans do not like dramatic change, especially when it disrupts everything they grew up believing in. Another example: I’ve had deep conversations with multiple religious family members and they themselves in their own words admit, that these beings may well be what we deem magical angels, gods, and demons, but that they themselves will still believe in religion because these thoughts scare them. Religion, the way we humans have laid it out to be for ourselves brings people peace. It’s like a crutch or a coping mechanism if you will. Most humans are not wired to live life knowing we’re potentially alone without magical gods. It sounds insulting and narcissistic of me to say but I don’t fault people for being like that. I’m more interested in figuring out WHY people are wired that way.

Simplest probability is they are from here, there very well could be a couple few isolationist more advanced than we are races. less likly from one of our other planets or moons but posable. Alot less likely is from outside our solar system or the next closest star with planets. And maybe we only see them when thier stuff has a problem, and they literaly exist right alongside us since the begining of time. I think they are from here and live under the sea in caverns. I think they can use our power high tension lines to charge and launch thier crafts to high speeds thru induction. They seem to make sure we don't do something extremely stupid it seems anyway.

the hypothesis that some UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin has always been plausible it's just awkward for the gov. The Fermi paradox actually STARTS with the assumption universe is so vast and ancient we SHOULD be seeing evidence of alien life... if the best UFO cases are extraterrestrial our visitors could presumably destroy us if they wanted to...but they haven't yet and why would they? It's important for us to resist fear and unnecessary securitization of this issue as well

After this hearing, it would surely be very important for the findings to be published and for this stupid secrecy to end. The fact is that these UAPs actually exist and we cannot explain them. Everything else is pure speculation. I wouldn't bet on them being extraterrestrials either. If it is a highly developed culture, we won't be able to understand their technology anyway. Since we also don't know what their intentions are, nobody can claim that they are well-disposed towards us. Is that perhaps the reason for the secrecy? To avoid a possible panic among the population?

I think it’s arrogant to think that God created the universe and all the other planets and only put life on this tiny little speck. Here’s another thought. What if there is life on other planets and this is the only planet that has sin? Yet God still sent his only son to die for us. Just a thought. @ No, but as a former USAF electronic warfare officer familiar with what EW capabilities were 30 years ago, and assuming that EW capabilities have advanced significantly since then, and obviously having been involved with military programs, I think these events are either secret government programs, electronic warfare spoofing incidents, human/sensor errors/misinterpretations, or natural phenomena we don’t yet understand. In the latter case, for instance, we know that “ball lightning” exists, but we still don’t know what causes it or what it is.
