You wouldn't love seeing my dog on the course, she wouldn't leave a seed behind but she also wouldn't let you have it back, practice putting at home is fun, I'm never quite sure if the putt is going in as she's in there pinching it before it drops, 😂🐶

Been fortunate to play both Archerfield courses and stay in house, lodges and houses....one of the best locations to stay and play golf in Scotland.

Why not come clean and tell everyone the green fee for each course. This is a £200 course. Seaton Carrew is also next 100 at costs £45. Big difference.

Very impressive! What a gorgeous tract of golfscape. I'm amazed at the overall condition in mid-winter, and don't really know how you can improve on that. The only thing keeping it from the top listing may be that it is fairly flat, aside from the mounding along the fairways, but the layout is superb. Keep 'em coming! as I really enjoy these golf travel guides.

Have played many famous courses in the US, Baltusrol, Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, TPC Jacksonville, Indian Wells, and many others but never have played anything like you play. Hi James, wonderful video! Like the fact I don’t see a lot of people, spectators, etc like at Pebble, etc. and reasonable price. I think Pebble is $625 now. On the list to play later this year. My favourite course would be Royal Portrush, players in Northern Ireland are either Royal Co Down or Royal Portrush fans, played both and its Portrush for me. If you think the golf coast in Scotland is good wait until you get to the Causeway coast in NI, Portrush, Portstewart, Balycastle etc

Play it every summer I go to Scotland. Love that place, conditioning is too Notch. Great course. I’m not that bothered about muirfield. Only just allowed women, so tells you what a place it is. Renaissance is very decent too. It time for the new school courses to blow the old school out the water.

Archerfield is only under rated because of its neighbours, its one of the most golf rich coastlines in the UK or even the world. Those courses are also rightly revered and have been there for hundreds of years, if you are travelling to that part of Scotland, you would never play here over all other incredible layouts, Gullane 1, 2&3, Muirfield, North Berwick, Kilspindie, even Craigelaw. Not quite following why this is so under rated, play the others surely?
