AlwayS BlesseD This might sound so cliche but in all honesty, in the morning I would (and still do) wake up saying gratitude affirmations and the Lord’s Prayer. But I would really FEEL the gratitude for the things I had. There are so many things to be grateful for that we sometimes fail to remember (like the fact that you woke up or that you have have clothes - you might not like them but at least you have them!) I would say what it was that I wanted and asked God/The universe (whatever you believe) to help me to get there. I had surrendered to God. And by surrendering I mean literally giving everything up to Him. No matter how messed up life looked at the moment; I had to think of the positives. At first I would waver with the thought of “this is complete BS! These people are crazy” and “ok this has to work because I have no other alternative”. That last thought stuck with me because it was true. Was I going to keep sulking about my present or was I going to enjoy my present no matter the circumstances and believe that things will get better? When it finally hit me, I received a job offer that pays me VERY WELL. Literally a month into my new job, I applied for an apt in a nice neighborhood that I wanted to live in years ago but didn’t think it would ever be possible. Mind you, I was house hopping if someone was generous to let me stay, sleeping in my car some nights, and sharing a car with my bf. Just believe. It really will happen BUT only if you believe it will. It’s not going to be easy but once you surrender, your life will transform. I hope this helped. I’m so excited for your transformation 😘🤩

I had this dream for a long time. Many people will question me and tell me that should be realistic and just do things to earn money and build myself (maybe like the working machines? hmmm). My dream is to have my daycare for God's angels, a place with no racism, judging or discrimination. The human ego is so needy. It’s a constant thought-barrage of gimmie, gimmie, gimmie. If I can just find the right person, if I can just get the right job, if I can just make X amount of money, then I will be happy. This whole law of attraction thing is prime fodder for this ego delusion. So our first task as spiritual beings living material lives should be to get past this delusion, so we can be free. The purpose of this life experience is not about getting; it’s about becoming. And the first thing we need to become is free from the ego delusion that compels us to endlessly chase external things that are “outside of our being” in the hope of them leading to our fulfillment and happiness. This is all pure insanity IMHO. A spiritually fruitful, centered life is an experiential unfolding and growth of our being, not an endless game of need more, need more, need more. The ancients taught us this truth thousands of years ago, and yet we still don’t get it. I guess that’s why we need all the lifetimes to learn this essential lesson. Cheers.

My thoughts exactly. Wayne Dyer is known for having taught that "we are God's". Rhonda Byrne says "we are made of love". The Bible says "God IS Love". I've added everything up, it all makes sense to me, and has for some time now. I just can't get most Christians or people who follow "religion" seriously, to see it from my point of view. I know this goes against everything LOA teaches but, I think these people judge and criticize me. It doesn't bother me to be honest. Chelsea Zahara Shaw - You're welcome! Yeah it amazes me how many Christians will quickly discredit LOA when it's taken from the Bible! For example, the LOA is big on "what you think about, you attract whether it be good or bad." In the Bible, Matthew 21:22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. and Matthew 7:7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. are in a way about LOA as well. Our thoughts are almost like prayers. Prayers can be negative or positive without us realizing it. You can believe in good things happening to your or bad things happening to you. You can have faith in good things happening in your life as well as bad things happening in your life. You can ask for good in your life or ask for bad with your thoughts. Many Christians won't see it this way though. About 90% of LOA is from the Bible. Wayne Dyer and Rhonda Byrne have taken many of their teachings from the Bible. Yes, you must continue to surround yourself with open-minded and positive people. You'd be surprised by how many close-minded and negative Christian people there are. Also, the law of attraction is also big on staying positive and surrounding yourself with like-minded people! :)

I actually just received a book for Christmas, entitled "The Power of I Am". It's been written by a Christian pastor called Joel Osteen. And as I'm reading this book, it's just like re-reading The Secret all over again lol instead of referring to the "genie" as "The Universe" or "Source Energy", he refers to it as "God". Lol so it's all the same thing, and it makes me laugh sooo hard when the "religious" get their panties in a bunch over something so trivial. It's the exact same message, just translated differently for different people. You know, you're a helpful person :) thank you so much for verifying what I knew deep down in my spirit.
