I love Nikke but I literally have no more expectations when it comes to molds, I just open them and accept whatever they drop. Standard recruit vouchers are what I breathe heavily for, I always want them to give me something I need. Special recruitment vouchers make me nervous because I want them to not be wasted but they have only hurt me when I pulled 100 times for Modernia and only got 2 copies, so I couldn't MLB her. I really really hope I get her someday.

Molds are the worst part of this game. The game would be better without them. It's just a feel bad player experience. They should just make it 100% if they want to keep it in the game. That will improve player experience.

If you rely on it being an important thing then sure but like, idk imo i just see it as a bonus single pull with highly increased odds rather than bonus "income" of SSRs, at least when it comes to the gold and purple molds. They will never make it a reliable source, But i understand the frustration at least for the manufacturer molds cuz of how long they take to get

And the molds feels like a terrible tease. So I would describe molds as just a bad game design choice by the developers.

@@Rishu7 yeah i do think they add bad value, Though from a monetization perspective. There's a lot of packages that include 50 gold mold fragments that get overinflated pricing because of it. Though to be honest like 95% of the shop is hyper inefficient with price to value ratios compared to other gacha games with good ones. Basically the only good things to buy is the daily login reward gem 30 day thing and the $20 special recruitment voucher pack when a new banner drops lol. Also battle pass but imo they should be 10 bucks instead of 20 being that they always have 2 BPs going and spending 40 bucks a month for battle passes is just cringe. But back on topic: I think molds would be fine the way they are if there was a pity system. Like maybe for purples after u don't get an Ssr twice your next purple is guaranteed to be SSR, and for gold molds if u dont get an SSR on first mold then the next is guaranteed to be. For manufacturer molds since they take substantially longer to get they can have the same thing as gold mold pity but you can also make it so like after getting 4(which would be a VERY long time, granted) u are able to directly select the unit u want. To reward how far up the tower you've gone and getting a character selector in a gacha is quite nice. Especially for getting a pilgrim the game refuses to give you

If you wanted Scarlet: Black Shadow, you should had summon or purchase her at Mileage shop when her banner was up and running for two weeks. Doing the Pilgrim mold summon is very difficult to get. Unlike High-Quality Mold you are guarantee to summon any SSR.

Yeah... The first 3 pilgrim molds I opened I got nothing. It was the worst feeling for someone starting the game. With that I was not creating any expectations for the forth, and I got Harran, which I already had and was not using already. But at least it was something. Finally in the fifth, I got OG Scarlet, which was new for me. Now it will be a challenge to be stoic again for when I get the sixth
