@@ALV694 It was a cheaper replacement material for metal models. Due to increasing prices in material GW began using it for their metal models. Since these models were designed around being cast in metal, this led to the new Finecast models coming out warped, or even missing chunks since it hadn't set properly. Also, since it was such poor quality plastic, attempts to fix it or file it down would lead to breakages. This didn't sit well with fans, not just for the bad material, but because the most popular models were effected first since GW needed to use cheap plastic to keep up with the demand. Naturally GW didn't listen to their fan's complaints and just kept slowing phasing out metal models for plastic ones. TLDR; to save money GW started using subpar material and it all went to crap.

Between the two of them, they'll show the world what happens when all of cathay stands together to create the greatest paint empire.
