Sins of the emotions can be painful to agonize over. If I steal something there's no agonizing. Go pay for it or put it back. Emotional traps are much harder. Any simpleton knows stealing is wrong, with deep emotional scars it's easy to say "I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF. IF THEY DISAGREE IT'S ONLY BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T THERE.
