I'm glad I was blessed to find this brother using his gift as our Father intended. I have a terminal illness and I know many people don't understand it's not God's will to heal everyone, but it's clear to me God's intent and it is this song (this rendition) genuinely comforts my spirit. There are some things I need to get done to make sure my wife is secure. I get anxious that I won't complete all the renovations but hearing this reassures me that God has the timing and the people to get it done. I met a fine brother in this process and it reminds me that I don't need to stress about it because He will send the people He has set aside. Please allow me to encourage the family to walk in your calling. As this brother singing and the flooring brother are blessings to me we all have a calling that bless others. Finally, this doesn't mean we should seek out unfair favors, pay what is owed fairly and timely because it honors God. If God grant you a blessing of lesser cost due to your circumstances pray that God bless that brother / sister beyond what they've sacrificed. The latter part is the Godly teacher in me, it's like fire 🔥 shut up in my bones lol. God bless this brother and his family. And may God bless all of you.

I have never heard anyone sing it quite like this. More than ever I feel the,heartbreak of the writer's loss of his daughters and the triumph through his tears of Jesus's victory even in his grief

God has given you talent, and He must be pleased you use that talent to glorify Him. You sing with a softness and sincerity that is missing from many Christian singers, in other words, the Holy Spirit communicates through you - no acting here. I just played this song for my Grandfathers funeral on the piano yesterday. It brought me so much peace and I wanted to break down in tears afterwards because I know he is now with Jesus and I miss him so much already. I grew up in church. Heard this many times. However, This is the best I've ever heard it done. Whenever I want to hear this song, you are the only one I try and find. I'll never get tired of this . Best ever and so beautiful. I grew up with Pastors in the family. My Dad being one, My Grandfather also. And about 3 uncles who pastored churches. I'm grown now, and some of whom I speak of have left this world.....I don't go to church like I use to. But this song takes me back home . And this song makes me realize the old Hymns can't be beat by anything today. They were alive, and still are in my heart. Thank you, and please never take this down.

I woke up this morning with a very subtle peace and found myself singing and humming this old hymn, so I looked it up on KZbin, and found you. You see, I spent the past weekend quietly and alone; canceled dinner plans with a friend because my Spirit was in a bit of a tangle. I disconnecting from everyone (except my two best friends), and allowed God to untangle the mess. He didn’t actually do anything except sit beside me while I slowly unwound the tangle myself. He’s already taught me what to do. I finally came to terms with difficult decisions I needed to make about a couple of personal relationships as well as letting go of control over a couple of professional situations. We are reminded to let go, stop being defiant and stop trying to control our life. Peace will find you when you make decisions that are in line with His will for you.
