It Is Well With My Soul

Sometimes this song feels like a stretch. Not so much musically, but emotionally. It can be hard to believe anything will ever be well with my soul when we live each day in a world that seems to have lost its mind, and has undeniably broken its heart. But then I remember that damaging a soul touched by grace is like trying to spit on the sky. Even when life engraves its impression in our tender flesh, it can be well with us.
