It literally scared the hell out of me - The near death experience of Dr Maurice Rawlings

When skeptic and non-believer Doctor Rawlings experienced first hand a patient dying in front of him and being revived multiple times, he couldn't help but be changed forever by the nature of the events.

In one of my "out of body experiences" I went to a place that we all could fly, and we were all immensely powerful. The body I had there felt light and I had the constant sensation that there was nothing I could not do. My senses were not only much sharper, they felt perfect, no noise, no obstructions. My vision was not only frontal, I could see 360 degrees continuously. On this place you directly know things, you just know what other beings want to communicate to you or where is someone. I don't know how much I knew, but many things I did knew directly. I was high in a mountain with something similar to a castle in the top. That was my first time knowing how the snow felt in my face... in my skin. I didn't touched snow before because where I live here there is none. But what surprised me the most was that we faced a being that could be categorized as a demon, his appearance was very similar to a giant centipede whose strength exceeded ours. He had black and red colors and was like the size of a big truck. And in that instant, angels (I knew they were 50) descended upon it and instantly killed him. They did not emit only a white light, they had many colors and coordinated as if they were a single being or a flock of birds. They looked like transparent luminescent winged humanoids. They responded to my situation, and I never felt that I was a lesser being in their presence. They are different to us, just like that After that, I returned to my body and from that day on, there was never again the possibility of doubting. When I descended on my Earth body I felt like falling into a dream. Everything looked so illusory. I had this sensation of illusion for days. This other place was so much more real, no pain or discomfort This experience happened like 10 years ago, and still have the certainty that I'm eternal, I cannot die. The body can, but not me. NO ONE can cease to exist. This world, as it is today, can make you feel insignificant, but I can assure you that you are not. We are immensely powerful. And yes, that feeling that you can fly is not an illusion, may be here... on this world is.

How can you be so sure it was real? If I had a NDE, no matter how emotionally powerful the experience and real feeling, I feel like I could still doubt it and know it could be caused by the chemicals releasing in my mind. It seems people with NDE never have this perspective though. Why? Everyone’s NDE is different, the revelations they have, what the angels look like, what the spirits look like, what the area / demons looked like. Shouldn’t the inconsistency make you think it’s caused in the mind and not actually a real place?

@@allenfallenex7003 i think you won't be able to understand until you actually see it for yourself and i think it's normal to be in doubt. even i am in doubt right now. I think it's like a drug. you can ask someone how it's like to be high on something, everyone will tell you almost the same effects with slightly different personalized experiences, since you never tried that drug, you might doubt its effects, you might think that you can control your toughts and the trips while you are on it, once you take it, well, surprise. you will see with your own eyes another world, that's the thing with death, lots of us doubt that there actually is something after life. it is, mane, and you have the benefit of actually being an undying soul, your carcass might rott, but your soul will never. What the hell can give a sack of bones and flesh so many emotions? what gives everyone's bags of organs unique character and ways of thinking? the brain? the brain is also just flesh that will rott sooner or later. We are on a journey, brother, and i bet you're gonna love it.

Like knowing what doctors said when no brain activity is registred, being instantly healed. I have to say, I believe there are NDE's that are manipulated. I know the soul is real, I tried astral travelling and woke in in my spirit once. I could move like s snake (so without joints) and the atmosphere was yellow/green sparkly. It was not a dream, it was something different. So how can you tell? Do your own research

During my sleep my soul left my body. I think I died. It is worth it to read my experience. I woke up and I found myself in a completely white place without any doors, ceiling, anything. Just a white place without any sound. And I felt just like I was feeling here on earth in my body, flesh. I WAS COMPLETELY Consciouss and sure that IT WAS NOT A DREAM or a vision. It felt more real than here on earth. Now, What made me realize that something wasn't RIGHT is that when I tried to get up you know just to see where am I because I fell asleep in my room and now I'm waking up in this huge white place. The moment I tried to move I couldn't. I also couldn't open my mouth. After experiencing this I got really frightened and I tried to scream help, but as I said I couldn't open my mouth and I just said it my head. And after that I heard something moving around me. I felt like I was laying on a table and around me were some beings that I couldn't see but I could sense. What I also felt is that their presence wasn't evil. I was surrounded by peace but I couldn't enjoy it because I was so afraid. I couldn't move, speak. As soon as I started to panic those beings around me felt my fear and they started to move and perform something very fast they were hurrying for something... Like I wasn't supposed to wake up and they were shocked that I woke up and saw that place. After that and I began to ascend in the air or whatever it was and few seconds after that I started to descend very rapidly in a spiral-downwards movement. It was very rapid and very fast and because of that I just closed my eyes because I couldn't handle the speed at which I was moving. That spiral movement continued for lets say 10-20 seconds until I LITERALLY LANDED in my body. The moment I hit my body I jumped out of bed and fell on the ground. When I tried to stand up my legs couldn't hold me. It took me 5 minutes to walk again. What I also felt during my stay in that white place was as I said before great amount of peace but also LOVE. As I started to descend there was something that loved me and as soon as I panicked it tried to calm me down. I am sure it was Jesus. The amount of love towards me was so much that I could almost touch it. I was about to start crying because I instantly remembered all my bad deeds and how I made others feel and even so, this incredible being(Jesus)which at that time I could not see but I SENSED and felt, loved me so much. Like I was the best thing that he has ever created and just wanted me to be with him. I just can’t explain it. I had a lot of other experiences. I know God is real. There are things that science cannot answer and life after death is one of them. Guys it was so real that I couldn't find any difference from what I was feeling here. And even further my senses there were sharpened by at least 500 percent. I do not care what people think about me, I WILL continue to preach and speak of Jesus and God. Why?! Because I don’t want to find myself in the same situation but this time in a place of everlasting torment and absence of GOD! You should not be afraid too. PLEASE, I am not writing this just because I am the next RELIGIOUS NUT, but because I want you to be saved!!! Ask yourself > what am I going to gain from writing this? Nothing! They just can't understand that he is described with an old bearded man so that we can get some image of him, because if he presents himself in his full form we won't be able to describe and perceive him. It's like when you enter university studying some engineering subject and of course at the initial courses you begin with simple terms and words, you know, you can't just jump to the advanced levels without basic knowledge because you won't be able to understand them. So is the same with God. It's been written and described with simple words so that we can understand it, not because it is simple, but because we are too stupid and lack the knowledge, image and skill to understand it in its real form. Everything that is down on earth is a demo version of something in heaven and heaven has who knows what billion numbers of things that aren’t here. People just take the Bible and God superficial. Every 0.0000001 sec of our life is being recorded in a book lets say, we won't fool and cheat anybody. Everything is being seen. We will be kept accountable for everything. Lets say that you fall in love with somebody but you know that it's impossible for him to fall in love with you because you are too ugly, too poor or just because you are not on his level. And the next day you see that person on your door saying that he loves you and wants to be with you forever. You can imagine how that will feel like, right? Warming, incredible pounding love. Like the meaning of your life has been fulfilled. This is the closest to what God love can be referred to, only that his love for us is like 10000000000000000000 times stronger and pure in billions of more ways. Often people wonder how can God be so powerful to see everything that happens every 0.0001 of the second and be present everywhere. For example we can give the following We all know what a computer CPU is, right? And how many calculations and actions it can do in a nano second, right? And this can be achieved by your ordinary 2.7 ghz dual core. For example God is like a infinite number CPU with infinite number of GHZ. In Luke 22:67 it say > “If you are the Messiah,” they said, “tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe me" God is the source of everything. Every tech that you use for fun on earth now has come from him. And trust me there are trillions of more "TOOLS" that are not and will not be here. < 1 Corinthians 2:9 > “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him.” Bad things aren’t occurring because GOD DOESN’T CARE BUT because HE GAVE US A FREE WILL and we abused it! Now we are paying the consequences of our actions. SOME PEOPLE REFUSE to live according to God's words because they say > and what? all this sinless life just to stay on some green meadow with a robe on? Are you one of these people? Do you think the pleasure on this earth surpass those in heaven? Let me ask you : Do you remember when you were little and your parents bought you a computer or some phone as a reward for the good grades that you got or for being good and loyal to them? Do you think that GOD can't provide better and far more superior rewards to you, if you stay loyal and faithful to him?

Vanilla Bean don’t be scared, just seek Him, talk with Him and lead a life He wants you to live. It’s not about a ceremony, special words or money. I believe hell is real but let your love for Him outweigh your fear of hell. Hell is not for you, seek Him, repent for mistakes you have made and people you have hurt, forgive everyone that has hurt you. You will be fine. Keep Him close to you all day and night in a loving comforting way. That is what I believe will help you.

It's been said that "pride" is the greatest sin. Biblically speaking, supposedly no sin is greater than the others; but I honestly think "pride" is the reason some people just don't want to admit that there's a metaphysical/spiritual world that they can't quite understand. Everything in their world needs to be scientifically provable, and that completely defeats the purpose of faith and consciousness. After all, no one can prove what I'm *thinking*. We all have our own thoughts. Inner monologues. Dreams. Everyone agrees on that. But how can anyone *prove* what they're thinking? If I'm thinking of a black and white dog, how could I prove it? If you're thinking of your mom's spaghetti, how could you prove it? See how silly it is? That's why I don't get why some scientists/researchers/atheists refuse to believe in spiritual phenomena. If we all know that thoughts and dreams are possible, why can't they agree that consciousness and spiritual experiences exist?

Believe it or not, with the help of God, that patient who died & was resuscitated actually saved Dr Maurice life!!! Some may ask how? The patient told the Dr to pray for him! I had a very similar experience to your experience. As a near death. I will explain a little of it. I lost my brother in 2005. I started going down a dark path in the military. I started using drugs and not caring. Just hurting. I always was looked as an outcast, that still affects me to this day. I still some what feel this way. However, I am fighting it and after what happened and what I felt after that near death. The love. I can't even explain the love I from Jesus. So, after a while I was starting to get into ecstasy. I took it but after about a few hours I would get depressed. This was in 2007, so the pills were never pure. Anyways, after a few times I would get depressed. But this few times, I would feel my body go. A voice inside would guide me to get water. Then I would come back in my body. That happened a few times. However, the night I oded or should I say I tried to end it. This is when I had the experience. But he saw one good realm I saw both. Which wasn't a positive thing. So, that night I took a pill of ecstasy and it felt great. But ran out. I was so beyond depressed. I told myself I am over this life. So, I grabbed six different pills of x and said fuck this I am done. Inside told me you will be fine just look in the mirror to see your still here. However, I didn't realize that what was going to happen was going happen, if that makes sense. So, immediately, everything was void. Like the author said. But something was inside my body. That's why I never saw it. This sounds crazy but it was my brother, the one who past on. He called my friend over. Mind you this was 1am. I could hear my brothers voice. I was riding like passenger seat in my body. He was taking care of my body while I had to go. I was unsure where I was going. However, I heard these prayers. I swear they made the hardest man soft. I dropped to my knees. I could not believe what I was feeling. Everything was telepathically, also like he said. My brother came and went with me. Idk who was watching my body. It was miraculous. He said we have to go. I was like, go where? He didn't answer. I saw the brightest light you can possibly see. Brighter than anything I ever witnessed. I felt love all around. I never wanted to leave. But my brother said. Someone wants to talk with you. It was Jesus. I never saw him but felt him. He was telling me somethings. About the future, that to this day I don't really remember. But he did say, it isn't your time. You can not stay. You have a lot to do back on earth. You will go through a lot of suffering. The Lord told me to have faith. I know so much more was told. However, I just can not remember it because. Jesus told me that I will make you forget a lot of what happened here today. Maybe so others will have faith. IDK. However, I got to talk my brother. He told me. See I am okay. You don't need to search anymore. I will never forget what you told me at the paddle out. (We had a paddle out after he past). I told him a few things that I hold dear to me today. It brings tears to me eyes when I think about it. I don't remember how we said goodbye. But the last thing I saw, was the future of me my family all together like a chain link. All smiling and happy as one. But where the Lord took me next... I don't wish on my worst enemy. I think that he needed to show me the darkness to understand the light. So, all the sudden it got dark. When I say dark I mean an ever lasting darkness. I don't remember a smell or screaming. But I do remember the darkness was all around me. However, while I was their. I felt like I was holding on to something or someone the whole time. But then, demons came all around and were cutting and tormenting me. I remember no word can describe the terror. It was beyond terrifying or tormenting. So, I keep shaking my head as they ripped my body a part. Calling on Jesus, over and over. Asking for forgiveness. Now, mind you this seemed like it was going on for eternity. But all the sudden, I heard footsteps. I thought it was Satan himself. I was yelling screaming praying. All at once. But the demons, were leaving. Before, the last one left. He turned and said to me, that we almost had you. Mother f@#ker. It was Jesus telling me not to do this again. I immediately, came back in my body. I was laying in a puddle of water. I remember my mouth not being able to open because It felt like the gnashing of teeth. That day I had to work. By Gods grace my boss sent me home. I was seeing orbs the whole day. I was crying almost the whole day. You don't understand what seeing hell can do to a person. It messed me up, permenately. However, it being now fifteen years later. I am completely fine. However, the first month or two were very bad. Took a lot out of me. I had someone I was trying to help. Call me crazy. Her had demonic things in his house and I just wanted to tell him my story. He flipped on me and said I need professional help. So, I do not tell this lightly. You can believe me or not. However, it was very real. I mean I saw orbs. I have scene things that would make a sane man crazy. I ask just to give me some respect. This was very real to me. I never asked for this to happen. But it did. A lot of people have questions. Like why does God let kids die. I tell them. IDK. But we don't know what that kid will turn into in the future or become. So, maybe their was a reason. I try to tell myself that Dave, my brother did not die for me. I sure hope the Lord didn't take him to save me. Because I don't deserve it. All I can do is do my best with my life. I struggle daily and have my own personal issues. But know, this isn't the end of your lives. Their is more to come. Just be open, to know that Jesus is real. SO are the dark things. When you have an experience like I did, you realize that once you see true fear. Your not afraid of much. But the world scares me. But be strong!! Peace!!

Hey man, first of all you are not mad. God (or Jesus/Spirit) revealed something profound to you. From time immemorial, across cultures, prophets and saints would have these terrifying and beautiful experiences. These revelations can be extremely hard to cope with so don't feel that anything is wrong with you just because the experience left you feeling the way it did. Sometimes these experiences can raise just as many questions as they answer. Fundamentalist Christianity offers one understanding of these experiences - but it is by no means the only paradigm (or even the best) through which you can interpret them. Don't let anybody or book tell you how to understand it. The revelation was given to you and you must unpack it. I think none of us fully know what is going on. I have seen hell (although I don't like that word because of the nonsense that has become attached to the word) and heaven. And I can tell you that it was a heavy burden for me to bear. But God keeps showing me (although I still find it difficult to believe him) that even in hell we are not abandoned and have hope.

I think the dimension thing your referring too is being blown out of proportion. 1. There is no evidence of there actually being other dimensions but we can allow for the discussion simply because the mathematics allows it too, the idea of different dimensions existing is more or less a case of, we lack the brain to interpret it even if it was there. No scientist can indefinitely say that they do exist though because they can’t be tested and they can’t be measured. It is fascinating, but I fail to see what hell has to do with that? It is a simple matter of a cube expanded in equal dimensions in ways our brains could never comprehend. If there was evidence of hell, I am absolutely positive it would change the entire story of humanity.

I have had health issues all my life. When I was 6, I had what doctor's believed to be a stroke, I was conscience throughout the entire ordeal, but I think it had lasting neurological damage because of things that I've dealt with over the years. More than once in my lifetime, I have experienced what I can only describe as descension into hell. I think I've probably started the dying process a few times in my life. Otherwise I was maybe being given a warning, or a message to send to others, I really don't know. The experience was more real than what I see, and hear while I'm writing this. I felt my body go completely numb, and I was paralyzed, couldn't move, couldn't breathe, I kept opening my earthly eyes, then suddenly they'd shut again, I could no longer control my bodily functions. I was falling endlessly into darkness, and the feeling of something evil all around me. I couldn't speak. Something was forcing my mouth closed. But in my mind I immediately prayed out to God, saying God please, God help me, God save me, God, God, God. I began to pray to Jesus, and then just like that I'd be able to breathe, and sit up, but my whole body would be trembling. I can recall these incidents so intensely, it is literally the scariest thing I've ever dealt with, and I've been through some really awful things. I don't claim to know everything, but I know that Jesus is real, God is real folks. Hell is real, Satan is real. It's all real. And trust me, not to scare you, but you don't want to experience that. I am a born again believer, who is trying really hard to live by God's Word daily now. But not out of fear, out of love, and thankfulness to my Savior. He didn't have to pull me out all those times, and He did. I believe it's so that I could be here to tell others of this, and for me to grow to love Him, and know Him before my eyes shut one last time. Be well everyone, and if you don't know Jesus, I encourage you to get to know Him. He is the only answer.

My experience is not similar, but I think I experienced something similar all the same, I'm a Catholic I'm a teenager these days I have been trying to leave behind everything that distracts me from God, really I have managed pretty well with fanfiction and I feel like I'm slowly leaving it. This morning I was semi awake semi asleep, but as I closed my eyes I wasn't in my bed anymore, well technically I was, but I was between two places I would rather not have been. I had the worst feeling that I experienced in my life, it was constant desesperation and hopelessness that I couldn't name. I opened my eyes but I was still between 2 places my bedroom (that was super blurry) and the other place I was. I'm going to take this as a signal to leave those.

Hell The subject of Hell is known to almost all people worldwide even to the non-Christians. Also there are different belief and teachings in regards to this subject. But the main purpose of this sharing is: What does the Bible says in regards to this subject of hell? Although all Christians hold the Bible as their sole teacher of truth, yet most believers have different understanding and belief as to what the Bible teaches. Most people believed that there is now existing burning fire in the middle of the earth where sinners are being tortured and burned forever. So the simple question to ask is: Q. 1) Does the Bible support the belief that there is now an existing burning eternal fire called hell? A. Genesis 1:31.; And God saw every thing that He made, and behold, it was very good. Note: As Christians we all knew and believed that God alone is the creator of all that is in heaven and earth. And the text said that every thing that God created was very good. In order to find out what are included in that every thing was very good. (Pls read Genesis 1: 3-26) For sure you won’t read the word hell in that every thing was good. So, the belief that there is now an existing burning eternal fire is contrary to the very good creation of God. Another text that contradict this belief is found in Ezekiel 33:11, which read: Say unto them (referring to prophet Ezekiel), As I live, saith the Lord God, I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE WICKED; but that the wicked turn from his ways and live. This text is clear, plain, and simple to understand that if God had no pleasure in the death of a sinner, how much more to an endless torture of burning. Q. 2) But for the sake of finding the truth, let us presume that there is now an existing burning eternal fire called hell. The only one simple question to ask is: WHO CREATED IT AND WHEN? A. Of course no one could find an answer from the Bible, because we already read, that God alone is the creator, and every thing that He made was very good. (Genesis 1:31) quoted. Note: This belief of an existing eternal burning fire is truly an unfortunate one, because there is no fairness and equality to individuals who are bound to hell. Everybody’s fate is the same, which is endless burning. It is really unthinkable. It contradict what the Bible says in Galatians 6:7; Be not deceived; God is not mock: FOR WHATSOEVER THAT A MAN SOWETH, THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP. What kind of sin does a man do, in order to deserve such endless punishment??????????? This belief is common even to most faithful Christians and one thing more they believed that Satan is in charge, while in fact the eternal fire is prepared for Him and his angels as we find out now. The danger on this belief is that, people will follow Jesus out of fear, and not out of love, which will lead to willing obedience to God’s divine will. Q. 3) So, if there is no existing hell yet, will there be future eternal fire called hell, and to whom is it prepared for? A. 1. Matthew 25:41; Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand. Depart from me ye cursed, unto everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 2. 2 Peter 2:4; For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment. Note: It is clear in the two texts above, that the everlasting fire is still future and is prepared for the devil and his angels including the cursed or unsaved of course. Q. 4) According to the Bible, when and where will this eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels takes place? A. Revelation 20:7-10; And when the thousand years are expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison. And shall go out to deceived the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city, and fire came down fromGod out of heaven and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. Note: The above texts are clear, that after the thousand years are expired, (Satan which was cast out to this earth, out of heaven together with his angels according to Revelation 12:7-9) is on this earth since that time, and will be here on earth until the thousand years are expired. And it is here on this earth, while deceiving the whole world when fire will come down from God out of heaven and devoured them. And this fire is described as “lake of fire and brimstone. In other words this whole earth will become the hell of the Bible. 2 Peter 3:7, and Revelation 20:7-10. Q. 5) According to the Bible, who will be included to suffer in the lake of fire aside from the devil, the beast, and the false prophets? A. Revelation 20:13,-15; ; And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. AND WHOSOEVER WAS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE WAS CAST INTO YHE LAKE OF FIRE. Note: The above texts clearly spell out the final end of every man that ever lived whose name is not written in the book of life. They (the texts) also exposed the erroneous belief and teaching that when a person dies, he or she will receive his reward in heaven, or punishment in hell, as the case maybe. Q. 6) What other name does the Bible call the lake of fire? A. 1) Revelation 20:14; This is the SECOND DEATH. 2) Revelation 21:8; But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable,, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH. Note: The above two texts imply that the result of the lake of fire is DEATH. Again, they (the texts) exposed the erroneous belief and teaching that when a sinner dies, he will suffer eternally, which means that he did not really die. there is a first death, for there would be no second without the first. Q. 5)After this earth is cleansed by the lake of fire and brimstone, with Satan and his angels in it, together with all wicked, (Malachi 4:1,3), what event will take place? A. 1) 2 Peter 3:13; Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2) Revelation 21:1; And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the.first earth are passed away, and there was no more sea. 3) Isaiah 66:22; For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. I once had high blood pressure and spiritual attacks, I had given up because my heart could not cope again. Then I gave up and just let go because I could not cope again. A power like a force sent me back. I have more than this experience. You see, when you face circumstances that can take your life away, then you will understand there is more to it than this earth we live. I wish I could tell you others. One thing I am very sure of is that God loves me so much. How I wish you will know him too. He is kind and loving. He is good. Just that he hates sin because sin attracts demons to hurt us. Sin separate us from God. But he still loves us if we want his love too.

Well his book scared my mother deeper into Christianity. But chemical reactions happen in dying people’s brains. Some people have pleasant experiences while other people have terrifying experiences. But you still don’t have to burn in Hell for the rest of eternity. J 336 can you really know? Or are you just falling for herd mentality? It is easy to believe that you know when everyone at your church also believes that they know. But it cannot be demonstrated like the legal system can be demonstrated to be real. You can call the police and they will come. You can go to court and watch trials. You can go to your local jail. You can go to a prison. You sometimes see police driving around. But Christians don’t go around commanding things to happen and doing miracles like they did in Acts. Or else the world would be a different place.

Everything cannot come from nothing, such a the Big Bang teaches. A building has a builder, etc. Life cannot come from non-life. Order does not come from Chaos. Therefore a materialistic worldview is very limited, only creating doubt like the kind you have right now. In reality if you search enough you will realize that God is real, that your mind is real, and that the soul exists. God says that there will be a judgement, are you ready for it? There is only one place of safety, one place of salvation - the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ that paid the full debt of our sin. Our biggest mistake is to think that Christ's sacrifice alone is not enough, that we have to add to it our own holiness before God will accept us. But God imputes the righteousness of Christ to us as a free gift when we trust in His blood sacrifice alone and not rely on our own holiness also. We are not worthy to have a relationship with God, no matter how holy we try to live. Therefore God offers it as a gift through what Jesus did for us. It is all Jesus or it's all you but it is not a combination of the two. "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their OWN righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness OF GOD. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." (Romans 10:3-4) "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." (Isaiah 64:6) Christ is the righteousness of God. To be right with God we need HIS righteousness to be imputed to us. We cannot rely on our own holiness and performance to be right with God. If we try to add anything to what Christ has already done, we negate what He has done, we make it ineffective on our part. It is like this: Jesus plus nothing (except faith in Jesus) equals everything, but Jesus plus anything equals nothing. "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace." (Galatians 5:4) The only way to be declared righteous by God is by faith in the blood sacrifice of Jesus. It is not by works, it is by faith. Faith means that you realise that you are totally unworthy of it, that none of your own merits or goodness can ever earn it for you, and that you humble yourself and receive it as a gift through what Jesus did. God declares you righteous when you believe the Good News of your salvation, that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). The moment you believe this and you stop trusting in yourself you are born from above, born again into God's kingdom and washed from your sins by the precious blood of Jesus. "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood." (Revelation 1:5) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) So it is not about saying a prayer, inviting Christ into your heart and becoming a religious person. This won't save you. It's about YOU humbly believing and receiving what Jesus has already done to pay your sin-debt through His blood sacrifice, without you trying to earn it through your own goodness. When you believe this you will be cleansed from your sins by the precious blood of Jesus and God will send the Spirit of His Son into your heart and you will be given the righteousness of Christ in your spirit as a free GIFT. God's standard is sinless perfection, and Jesus is that standard. Only His righteousness is acceptable to the Father. Only He perfectly obeyed God's law and performed the will of the Father perfectly. The Father imputes to us the perfection of Christ, His good works, His righteousness and His holiness, as a free gift when we trust in His blood atonement for our sins. Faith is our part. It is our childlike trust that what Jesus did for us is real, that it is sufficient, and we receive it from Him as a gift, knowing that we cannot earn it, work for it or deserve it from God in any way; and that we continue in this trust, firmly, every day. If you are not covered by the blood of Jesus Christ you are not saved. We get covered by His blood by believing in our hearts that only His blood sacrifice atoned for our sins. Our religious works and efforts toward holiness will not save us in the Day of Judgement. We get covered by the blood by believing the Good News as presented to us in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4: "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." We can't make it to heaven on our own righteousnessess, they are as filthy rags (menstrual cloths) before God. We can only enter by being clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. God imputes the righteousness of Jesus to us when we are fully persuaded that His righteous blood was shed as the full and final payment for our sins. It is His good works, His perfection, His obedience that saves us, not ours. Romans 5:19 [19]For as by one man's [Adam's] disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one [Jesus Christ] shall many be made righteous. Romans chapter 10 verses 9 and 10 Salvation only comes by Faith in Jesus Christ and what He accomplished at the Cross. You can NOT be saved by being good or doing good things another words you can feed a million starving children and still die and go to Hell. There is only ONE Gospel: The Gospel of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Satan's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of God.
