Okolie is a dangerous addition to the heavyweight division. He's a big problem for anyone.

100%agree mate he has power and he looked massive at the weekend but still kept the speed. Finished with a lovely k.o . The fact he isn’t needing to cut weight will be a massive boost for him

Let's see how Dillian is back in action against Ebenezer Tetteh in Gibraltar on Sunday 15th December first!

Weird that Hearn laughed at the idea of Okolie fighting and winning against Whyte....
@Boylo24923 күн бұрын
In fairness you could be right but we learned nothing from him fighting an absolute stiff. Whyte would more than likely chin that lad in the 1st too.

Hearn does not have a clue, just a gob shite

When did Hearn laugh at that?, if you’re referring to years ago when okolie and whyte had beef Dillian was at a completely different stage of his career at that point
@iffysd98642 күн бұрын
@kiely4561 he said it in this interview lol. Did you watch it?
@kiely45612 күн бұрын
@@iffysd9864yeah he’s referring to when he wanted the fight when he was at cruiser, that whole thing was years back before Whtye started getting knocked out for fun, it might sound weird now but back then Dillian was still dangerous and lawrence was a gangly 200lbs guy lol, it was a different period in time.

Okolie was far too light at cruiser weight…. He looked like a moose. Of course he was a bit too heavy at 260 lbs but he will give a lot of heavyweights problems when he trains and stays at ~240 plus pounds. He has the punch power, which is hard to teach…… intriguing for the HW division
@AlexB-u8x3 күн бұрын
Doesn’t have the chin though. Even though he was a bit drained at cruiser his chin looks dodgy. Billam smith dropped him multiple times and he’s a pretty moderate puncher really. He’d beat this current version of whyte and probably some other top 15 heavyweights but most of the top 10 beat him I think.
@rickyeiles66182 күн бұрын
This weight agrees with him. Could not believe the size. How the hell did he make Cruiser/ Bridge weight. Good times for this lad. 🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊
@waynehyde70713 күн бұрын
Limited fighter at the lower weights this is his weight going to be dangerous strong and fast
@kiely45612 күн бұрын
So he was limited at cruiser but having a rubber dingy around his waist is suddenly going to make him a world beater in the heavyweight division? Lol
@TheJoker-yz8dv2 күн бұрын
@@kiely4561 Cruisers are better skill-wise than heavyweights mostly and not having to cut an obscene amount of weight will also help Okolie.

I reckon its a good fight considering where they are both at in their careers now. Would be relatively competitie.

Okolie needs to show his funny side i remember he was a bit more of a joker earlier in his career..boxing took it out of him
@karimadam86112 күн бұрын
Lawrence Okolie needs to come at around 235lbs-240lbs his weight didnt look good at 260lbs looked overweight and flabby, he should go down the following route in tge folliwing order: 1. Dillian Whyte UK or Jarrell Miller in the U.S. 2. Fabio Wardley 3. Agit Kabayel /Filip Hergovic/ Frank Sanchez 4. world title shot
