I lost my mum last July [2021] after a very brief illness. She was my everything... I mean everything. There is no moment of the day that I do not feel broken. I am also an SDA Pastor, so I intimately know and believe in that blessed hope which is the only thing that keeps me sane. However, that does very little sometimes when the pangs and sting of death bore into my heart. I just want to say thanks so much for this song. This has been the trial of MY LIFE... but thanks for the reminder that it'll be worth it after all. Mrs. White said in Early Writings, page 35--- "We tried to call up our greatest trials, but they looked so small compared with the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that surrounded us that we could not speak them out, and we all cried out, “Alleluia, heaven is cheap enough!”" I look forward to that day!
