I gotta tell ya Shawn, with the way you talk about how much you love Beemers, I'm surprised you don't let the HD go and get the Beemer of your dreams. I know they're expensive, but you've said yourself, "You have to pay for quality." Congrats on 1300 VLOGS. Congratulations on the 1300th Episodes of "The SmoaksVlogs", fantastic, unfortunately I can't say that I've watched all 1300, I started watching in January of 2017. But I've watched EVERYDAY since then, but it all started when I watched Your Travel Vlogs on Your other channel, that's actually where it all started, with first ride on the Barn Find out to Utah, it was all history from there on in, like many others, I became a "Smoakpeep". Shawn, Would like like to know your opinion about adding a speed shifter to the R nine T ,not because of lazy issues, maybe would be nice on the high end. I have a 2015 model, and looking to do a little Moding to it. Considering Healtec, but they just entered the game. Also from a Tech view , do you think the charcoal filter really needs to be deleted ? After the airbox delete, and headers, just wanting to knock off some others off the check list . Yep! That's my kind of bike too Shawn, some real nice touches too. Thank goodness someone had the good sense to keep the 2 'clocks' and not be tempted to slap a TFT monstrosity on there. Not sure about the 'seat hump' I'd have to see it and use it to be sure, but nice to have the option. Did you say they are not tubeless rims?

Well hello Leo! On that style of bike non-symmetrical bags look just fine. Would look weird on your SGS though. There really wasn't any wind noise with your visor up; sounded great actually. Happy Saturday! Peace and love.

Isn’t the reason the left bag mounted higher is to avoid hot exhaust mufflers?

It's actually the same mounting height on both sides, you'll notice that the tops of the bags are even with the cafe cowling... The left bag is shorter at the bottom to avoid the exhaust. I like that they didn't make both bags the same size so they'd be symmetrical... Lol Thanks for watching!

The gearbox on that bike sounds super smooth. Normally there’s a heavy clunk when changing gear on a boxer twin; not on that bike though 👏🏻

My 2018 R9T Racer without fail, always draws a crowd. It’s my Sunday Bike, and my Harley FXDR in my Saturday Bike. Even though I need an Advil before I ride my Racer, cause the riding position is killer on my neck, but for one day Sunday Rides, I’ll be the only one at the Bike hang out with one 👍❤️
