The feeling put into it just reminded me of "Purple rain" by Prince, one piece of music you should reproduce man. Excellent job!

Essa canção é incrivelmente fantástica, ainda mais executada no saxofone.

Can I ask ... are you improving the last section? I’m trying to follow along with you. Using ear but have music in front of me and the last section isn’t what your playing. So just wondering if your improvising? I love it...
@artinsound4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I play by ear. I am probably improvising! sorry for that.

I tried using my ear to play along in the end. But couldn’t quite get it. I’m learning Another Beautiful day by Kirk Whalum atm by ear :) it’s my challenge. 🎷

@@23RobynB By the end of the song I play some phrases with notes that may be a little bit out of the regular chord progression. Keep on training your ear and sooner than later you will be able to pick everything and understand the intention behind certain phrasing.

Can I ask - what instruments did you use here? Mic, mouthpiece etc?
@0fficialPyroIceDude7 жыл бұрын
Hey man how do you get used to using so much mouthpiece? I just love ur rich dark tone lmao
@artinsound7 жыл бұрын
Thank you!!!! When I started to play saxophone I used to place the mouth as closer to the tip of the mouthpiece as possible but I was just getting a squeezed sound. As I started to use more mouthpiece I was getting a bigger sound and my embochure became much more relaxed. It takes time to accomodate but you can do it. Remember the muscles of the face have memory so they will get used to to whatever you make them do.
