Good stuff. Hawg is always reliable for cutting right to the bone of it. Like a lot of PoE, the more hardcore you are, the more a given mechanic makes sense and works. Now that we can pick the base type it also works well enough for the early game when often you can just do 5-10 one-corpse crafts of the correct base type and get a reasonable upgrade. But the middle ground feels awful. A 15 corpse craft feels about the same as a 1 corpse craft in what you can get, and just doing 15 one corpse crafts is easier to do. I am just starting to get to the point that I can start thinking about planning to do a "real" gravecraft, but despite having a full morgue and 2 and a half tabs of corpses, I am still going to need to buy a ton of corpses through the crappy trade process. It will probably take me a week to get everything together to try my one 75% chance craft. I will probably be able to get an item better than I have had before, but man is it a ton of fiddily work to get there. The biggest failing here has got to be the User Interfaces. Why did the corpse storage in this need to be different than how Menagerie does it with beasts? I shouldn't need multiple tabs of corpses in my stash to be able to engage with the mechanic. Why do we need to arrange the corpses with precise positional placement? It makes the crafting take several times longer than it needs to and it adds very little, just give a screen where you can click the types of corpses you want and how many of each there should be. And like so many other items, the lack of any way to bulk buy/sell is really hurting things.

Put the corpses in the grave for the items that you crave! But the goodies don't abound when I send the dead underground. Too many times ordinary monsters put me down because of their ghost-haunted friends hanging around. Use the lantern to adjust your foes but sometimes they stomp your toes, break your nose, and add to your woes. Got tired of playing the league called Necropolis, seems like they're taking the piss. But I did hear of new patches but, I had already stopped playing POE.
