I've always felt this, but now I feel sure of it, but I feel like SAP fakes match making statistics. How do they always find someone who has the same number of turns, wins, and losses as you do? Those are three different statistics that always seem to line up with at least one other person AT THE SAME TIME. Include time as another statistic on the probability sheet. The trap with the brocoli is not the cost to your attack, its the cost to your gold. Even if you are willing to sacrifice attack for HP, youre spending 1/3 of your turnbto get such a small benefit that its hard to justify

You just need to weigh that cost against the benefit. Some unit abilities thrive on high HP so they can attack multiple times. As with all things in this game, it's situational. Therein lies a balanced game
