My daughter was on a competition robotics team in high school and we dove out west to the St Louis for worlds. Anyways fun fact is when you we seeing the St Louis Arch you are roughly 24 hrs from my home in Maine. I wish I could have a blue cactus goat but I wasn't gifted with health that would allow me to do 100% of the care. I hope some day Maine will be on your list because it's the kind of place everyone must see from the mountains to the sea.

Leonard Wood Missouri, and I remember seeing the arch, Welcome to the West, many times when we would go to and come back from Florida and Virginia from visiting our families! The goats milk makes very good ice blocks too and you can mix milo with the goats milk to make chocolate ice blocks too

Vicky you picked a good looking buck. He is so handsome. Crystal it's 78° in your house and you have a flannel shirt on!!!! You are definitely a lady of the desert 🏜️! I like my world at 66° -68° A little trick I use for those type of trays is to quickly run under water to the bottom of the tray they pop out quickly. The goats must be going crazy not used to being cooped up.

I heard the story behind the reason you began transporting your goats yourself. . Does it make sense financially? The upsides are you don’t have to worry about their health, and you get to spend such valuable time with your son. Plus you get to see practically the whole country in person ! Has that decision been a good one for you?

Quick question…. Maybe someone in the comments can answer it too. Why do you sell the older girls? I’m trying to learn about raising goats, but it would destroy me to sell goats I’ve become so attached to. Maybe someone can let me know why they are being sold? I’m truly just curious.. not being negative in anyway… pure curiosity ♥️

To up grade the herd, the older goats 🐐 need to be moved along to get there lineage started somewhere else too. Just part of life on the farm same way with cows 🐄 too. 😊
