Makes sense with the spelling of lingck. The child is probably in a montessori school and they learn to write before they learn to read. This being said, they learn letters as sounds rather than a descriptive symbol. They also forms words with the way the letter sounds form together. How we read Link does phonetically sound like (L - ING - K) pretty impressive stuff.

Rhett and Link are two of a kind. Although they are both talented, the show couldn't exist without either one. I suggest they try something called life casting. They could make castings of themselves and then paint each others life size figure. It would be interesting to watch and the final products could be auctioned.
