I'll never forget this as long as I live. I was only 8 when I first saw that 29 movie thing. I hope they post more of those 1983 the movie on 29 clips more often.

I miss the old TV 29. When I got cable in my part of NJ (which was part of the NYC market), I thought the addition of 29 and 48 kicked ass. Much like their NYC counterparts (5, 9, and 11), the Philly indies went to shit. 48 left the air, then came back in a cheap ass form. 17 got gobbled up by Tribune, and 29 got gobbled up by Rupert. We never got 57 in my part of NJ, but it would've been cool, given the schedule they had.

Why was THE NFL TODAY and football on 29 the next day on Sunday? Was it because channel 10 carried the Mummers Parade the next day? Were these movie on 29's on 12/31/83? Or 1/7/84?
