I used to love this show. Now watching it as an adult, it's quite adorable, making me think they'll be telling me about ghosts and aliens, and then just finding out whats behind a fake house by going around the back.

Absolutely unbelievable program. Watched this when I was like 8 years old and it scared me shitless. Thank you so much for uploading. I wonder if any of the other episodes contain the one about the unadorned underground station, that one had me shitting my pants for weeks!

For whatever reason there was just a lot of interest in the paranormal in the mid 90s. I used to watch shows like Strange but True and Jonathan Creek before going to bed as a kid, what was I thinking?

I had been looking for this for ages. I always clearly remembered the intro theme, and the bone hand beconing you closer from the intro in the glass ball. But for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was.

Which episode had a couple who visited a hotel for a holiday but when they had all their photos of inside the hotel processed, they were all blank. Then when the couple returned to the hotel, it was gone and didn't even look like it even existed. That is the episode I remember watching as a child in the 90's, I fondly rememeber this show and only now like 15 years later have I thought about it.

I remember one part of this show where a elderly couple were driving and got lost, ending up in small Kentish village. They fell in love with the little village and all the garden and hanging baskets they saw. Going home, they returned the next day to take some pictures, but when they returned, the village was almost a ghost town. Buildings were now badly neglected, the gardens overgrown and they were told when they found someone most of the homes have not been lived in years. Spooky.
@vjpearce9 жыл бұрын
***** People told them that when they told people about this village. They didn't take a wrong turn. They remembered the name of the village pub and the pub they saw had the same name.

***** No I'm not. What are the odds of getting lost and ending in a different village and the pub there just happens to have the same name?

That concrete house was used on the BBC Sherlock episode His Last Vow! I think it's Launceston Gardens.
@stephthestar906 жыл бұрын
It's in Leinster Gardens and it was built as a hole for early steam trains on the Metropolitan line and also because the houses in that spot were knocked down when the line was first built. Local residents complained and they built the concrete 'houses' at 23 Leinster Gardens to hide the missing house. I'm a London Underground enthusiast and know a lot about the history of the network 😄

There was an episode in this series that told the story of a man in a white van who saw an exact replica and himself and his van. They thought it was the cause of doppelganger... something like that. CAN THIS EPISODE BE LOADED?

The only thing that scared me was the episode about the "Uffington White Horse", how the chalk figure supposedly moved, and the ghost of a white horse was seen in that area. Creepy.
