Huge parade, the only one I know was bigger in Boston was Red Sox 2004, breaking the curse for several generations. Boston knows how to celebrate like no other city. City of Champions for sure! The great Boston Celtics are just getting started.

Duckboats are Boston limousines. Limos only have a moon-roof, these have way more room. Also, one year they drove them out of the water right onto land. We didnt just perfect the "rolling rally", we practically invented in early brady days because there were so many people showing up once everyone saw how hype it was. over a mil people for this one

For me I prefer recognizing how hard it is to win especially in a stacked conference and league. There are at least 10 teams that could knock off the Cs on any given night, so don't get ahead of yourself. Maybe you're too young to remember Tom GOAT Brady losing SBs? Calling Boston "small" ignored the fact that the Boston metro region is 10x the size of the city. Boston is limited geographically by the ocean, but still significantly higher population density than other major cities in the U.S. For a city with only 48sqmi (some of which are uninhabited islands) to have 675,000+ people is big. When you include adjacent cities like Cambridge, Somerville, and Brookline you've got a million people.

The MA school year has always gone to around this date, at least for decades. The 2004 Red Sox parade was about twice as big, about 3.2M vs 1.5M for today. I think they waited for Friday because the heatwave was Tues-Thurs, the temps are down about 15 degrees today. Everyone knows Tatum's offer sheet is about $315M. It has probably already been presented, but he has to wait to sign.
