My prayers and thoughts are with the people, who will be made redundant. May you all get security and prosperity soon.☺️🙏

Cost of car parks and internet shopping have killed the high street, noticed this happening 15 years ago and glad did not go into working in retail for this reason, has only got worse. I hope the redundancies get more jobs soon.

It’s such a shame

Vanessa has got it in one. In-store stock at most high street retailers is depleted. You can never guarantee to get what you want when you make the effort to get out of the house, so what’s the point. It’s also more expensive usually, and I’m not talking about the parking. Council’s leave it down to the town’s supermarket to provide free parking, and wonder why out of town retail is thriving.

Why cant Sunak give Wilko financial aid instead of giving India a raise of 70% in their Foreign Aid

Wilko can sell the best quality at their price truly. I used to be an international student and Wilko pan was the best. It was oven safe up to 220 degrees and metal utensils safe. Can you believe it only cost 15 quids😮. I don’t why people are willing to shop online or in other rubbish budget shops like Poundland and BM. Their quality cannot be guaranteed.

What happens to the share price and share holders investments, they should be worthless. Making people use staff tills to checkout does not help.

B&M said they were buying 50
@atb88 Жыл бұрын
These are likely to be relocations of B&M’s existing estate, where the local Wilko store is better located, or bigger than their current one. Wilko has gone for good. B&M have not bought 50 stores to keep them as Wilko.
