That is one of the better versions in my opinion as well, although I love them all. (The banners were also replaced in early 1991)

Yes I love that version as well, also quite a bit better than the current version IMO. As with the 60's and 70's versions it was much closer to the classic Mary Blair art style the ride is known for, and the designs in both halves were extremely charming and well done. The butterflies were wonderful and very detailed, the rainbows a wonderful symbol of friendship like the ride itself, the animals very cute and the heraldic banners absolute classic Mary Blair (I think, since they were there since 1966), and a great way to represent many countries in the relatively limited space of this room. Personally, my absolute favorite is probably the (c.1969-1976) version, with those classic and beautiful oversized flowers with many colors and greetings in the first half (as well as the very cool red wall), and although there is no evidence at the moment, I and some others think that the heraldic banners were there in the second half. That's because there is the photo in this video, as well as a couple other short video clips found since I made this, that show that they were present and actually more extensive in the original 60's version, and of course they were also in the second half until 1991, so I think they were always there to some capacity between 1966-1991. But yeah the 80's version is fantastic and easily my second or third favorite, behind the c.1969 and maybe 1966 versions.

I just realized they removed the “making our small world brighter” and the sylvania sun and the siemens flag thingy in the 2012 vers-

Yes, although the Sylvania references were actually removed in 2015, when they merged with Siemens. When saying 2012 version, I was actually just thinking about the movements of the boats which were put at a much slower setting that year, and they are still like that today. Somehow I didn't account for the changes in sponsorship in this video (don't remember why), but when I remake this video sometime in the future, I'll probably change my mind.
