This is respectful, I find it funny that everything always needs a bath including tractor, combine and etc. 😂

Been using Rotella 15W40 in all diesel engines a long, long time!! It cushions the bearings and runs smoother! Still has zinc in it to prevent wear!!

Great times Hayden enjoyed the maintenance and solar eclipse. Stay safe and can’t wait for the next video.

I was taught that the only time to use reverse on a combine is when you back it off the trailer. Otherwise you will end up running into something like pickups or trucks

We were planting corn in WC Illinois during the eclipse. We weren't anywhere near 100% and it was still a really shadowy, eerie feeling.

Thanks for sharing the eclipse. We watched it from Stillwater, Oklahoma and it was about 92%. It was very interesting to watch. I heard today that the one in 2045 will be 100% here. Be safe and have a great day.

Great job with filming the eclipse. Thankyou for taking the time. Looks like you guys are ready to rock. I’ll be watching. I’d test my canvas RPM for you but the headers are sitting in the shop and we are seeding. So maybe in July or August I’ll test it for ya. lol.

What do you call that canister with compressed air and brake cleaner?
@HaydenOnHarvest8 ай бұрын
Snap On calls it a “Sure Shot” and NAPA calls it a “Vapor Sprayer”. Dad said to buy two of them because they break down haha. I’m pretty sure they sell a reseal kit though.

Why do y’all like MacDon draper headers over Deere draper headers ?
@HaydenOnHarvest8 ай бұрын
More reliable and easier to work on. We ran Deere heads for a year or two and we went back to MacDon.

About a week! Hoping for a normal year this year where we are in and out of a town on normal schedule haha. So hopefully we have more fields and more stops

@@HaydenOnHarvest I look forward to your adventure. You fields are all planted? I pray your year doesn't work out as it did last year with the rain. Personally, I hope here SW of Chicago, it's a wet one for us.

Retella is probably better than Deere .It’s probably the best oil . But Deere will complain. lol. They always want you to run their oil in their stuff.

I love your maintenance/repair videos. Of course, I love all of your videos! It takes some extremely intelligent engineers to design such a complicated machine as a combine. Hats off to y'all for doing so much of the maintenance by yourselves. Saves you a lot of money.😉 Thanks for the views of the eclipse. At least you had clear skies. We were in the path of a 100% eclipse in Florence. We had cloudy skies, but there were brief breaks in clouds so we could see it. It got very dark here at 100%. Very cool (& weird). Glad you didn't get any hail. We didn't either. Thanks again for another awesome video, Hayden!😊❤
