You can’t do that by zeroing empty bases around the server because I tried and it did not work. I was only allowed to attack bases within the black land which is the capital only. The lag was insane during our war.

In normal capitol war, you can open all boxes by just zeroing a few random small non alliance bases outside of the mud if you need to.

The thing is, the capitol war lands on a Sunday, which means you can't zero bases that are not in the contaminated zone.
