I agree with this song so much! Fanfics are one of my favorite aspects of the fandom, and I've read some great ones (I'm currently reading "Background Pony", and it's blowing me away). Tastes will obviously vary, and that's cool, but it's a pet peeve of mine when fanfics are singled out for ridicule and taken less seriously than other forms of fan content. People should just lighten up and enjoy themselves. Being in a fandom is about having fun. Period.

This was really cool! I agree that people take things way too seriously when it comes to fanfics or the show in general. They'll leave a hateful comic just because somepony is dating somepony they think they shouldn't. However, we shouldn't think of it as just fanfics, I mean they are fanfics, but I know that many people have developed their talents thanks to this show inspiring them, like writing awesome songs like this. so we should give them helpful feed back to improve. I on the other hoof don't know anything about music so anything I'd say I highly doubt would be helpful. I do know a little about story-telling though so I will usually leave a comment on a fic I read hoping that an even better story will come of it. P.S. I like TwiFlash, but Twilight and Caramel sounds adorable too! >///< Plus I enjoy many shippings, since it's all "what if" I like the pairing of the main six with many ponies. Like TwiMac or FlutterMac is so precious! Though Fluttercord is my OTP forever.

I look at the fanbase as every Brony should: A group of people who watch the show, enjoy it, share their opinions of certain parts of it, and make their own stories out of it. Ha, I've only read a few as well, but I must admit, with FO:E being one of the fics we've read, it's kinda hard to say you "didn't really read much till now". Honestly, that fanfic is looooooong...... and easily the best story i've ever read in my entire god damn life. Though I must admit, chapters 23-34 or so were by far the best parts. 34+ just became a little sad :(

Ah hah hah, fan fiction... We have so much of it. But then again, fan fiction is the only form of digital media that can be good without having to buy/pirate a horribly expensive program. :) Decent video editing software costs like $600 or more. Decent audio editing is $250 or more. Writing tools... are free. Although, only certain fanfics are actually good. xD

The music itself isn't bad, I like the punk rock feel you've got going on. It definitely could use some work, but it's mostly just practice that you need. However, my primary issue is with the lyrics. They barely make sense, (fanfiction doesn't really have anything to do with the show), plus it just stinks of typical brony bullshit lyrics. Something you really should try and avoid. That being said, I like the overall feel of the song. Keep practicing, and maybe work on your mixing a little bit!
