@@viviannadz1877 good question. The water comes from a stream that would otherwise terminate in a field of scrubland. We have diverted that water to create a lawn which when established will require very little water. Currently we don’t have time to make a veg garden, but we will, and when we do the water will be used for food. It was great to see your neighbour's farm and imagine what you can do with yours. It is a magical place and it was good to see clips showing what you have already achieved. I can imagine how it feels to have to leave in the middle of harvest season after really getting into your home and land. Really good storytelling in this video including the music choices, held it all together and conveyed the emotion. I imagine going to visit farms in your area more often, will bring alot of inspiration amd ideas, perhaps techniques or practical planning you can use at home. Exiting to see what you'll be doimg in the UK, now thay you know what you want more knowledge on to bring back to Portugal. As I guessed you have predators about, astonishingly unphazed by your presence too! When the season gets colder and prey more scarce you may need better protection also in daylight for the birbs. We're all routing for a happy and easy delivery and a healthy baby in the next few days! It's all about planting roots, putting love in the soil, the foundation, all the life that springs from that and will grow and bring huge rewards as time passes, now. Your children are incredibly lucky to have such loving and present parents, this environment to nuture them and will learn so much from just seeing you do what you're passionate about, which is all we really hope for our childrens future. That they will cultivate their own and have the confidence to go for them. These things can't be taught in theory, it's all learnt by witnessing the practice of living that way. You're making great descisions and it will enrich you even more than you realize down the road. Can't wait for the next vlog! 🙌❤️😍

Sending good thoughts for your adventures in the UK. Loved the visit with your neighbors. I’ve lived in Washington State my entire life and here farmland is wide and bare except for the crops. Farming among the trees and on the edge of the lane is so smart and undeniably charming. Duck and chicken snuggled in car…so sweet.
