I’m happy you notice Glenn’s/(Dennis) acting chops. He’s a master when it comes to his facial movements, expressions, & range. He went to Juliard too for acting so clearly, he’s talented. I’ve watched enough Sunny to spot how he can be so effective doing the smallest, most subtle little changes.. Then opposite end of the spectrum he can get so bold & fiery, becoming extremely tense with eyes/veins bulging and reddened face, clenched neck. It’s clear, rage is his specialty AND he can make it funny.

Couldn't agree more. There's times where I'm truly amazed at the dude's ability. His "face acting" during the scene where he's begging Dee to peel the apple for him is great. Like you mentioned, he goes from subtle to extreme so well there. And Caitlin Olsen is right there with him. Her physical acting, what she can do with her voice... truly impressive.

What Charlie Day was actually drinking out of the sunscreen bottle was yogurt, that according to him did have a slight sunscreen tang to it because the bottle probably hadn't been well rinsed out lmao I'm so glad that that scene got them as much as it did (Calvin's visceral reaction was just like when Dee gagged onstage lmao), it's one of my favorite small moments from the show

As someone that has lived my whole life by the Jersey Shore... this episode is not only hilarious, but extremely accurate. Except for the stray dogs lol I've never seen a stray dog at the shore... I have no idea where that came from. But the drugs, and needles, magical first kisses, and murder... nailed it.

Resident Jersey Blind Wave Fan here... Just got say this is not true of ...most of the shores in Jersey. Like Keansberg and Union Beach are terrible. So are but Ocean City and Mantoloking. Wildwood is good for the Boardwalk and party scene but not the shore itself. Some great beaches are Point Pleasant, Long Branch, Cape May, Lavallette, Belmar, and Stone Harbor. Barely any needles at those last few!

Former childhood resident from Margate NJ here. Ya, that particular Ocean City beach were the gang was in the beginning of the episode wasn't the best I'll admit. But near the end when Charlie & the Waitress are on it that's not far from Gilligan's and the rest of the boardwalk? It's not that bad. Plus the actual boardwalk itself isn't that bad. Just ya, don't go under it 😅

DDV's full-body acting for "WHERE'S THE RUM-HAM?!!" is a little nugget of GOLD! Defy you to watch it & not smile. 😁 The realism of Dennis puking... There's an upcoming episode this season where Dennis can be seen turning red, blood-shot eyes & all... looked like he was gonna burst. Glenn Howerton... dude went to Julliard.
