An excellent walk as usual. Plus the sites are always different. Yes at Tukom I bought a copy of the latest Android phone for about 1200 Baht and it is still working fine. ALWAYS buy a protective case ASAP. That was over a year ago.

Wow! Soi Buakhao Market and Grand Hall Market. Thank you for showing me this. I did not know there was two. I walked past that area every day. I will be going straight there when I return to Pattaya. I like Wat Chai Mongkron Market, I bought a few traditional Thai clothing. Loved it! Pattaya Night Bazaar, Terminal 21 shopping centre, very good prices. ❤

Did that walk a few times 1st week of January when I was there. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, and it was excellent for location and facilities. Highly recommend. Not too long a walk to The Buzzin Lounge and Sugar Sugar! Wish I were still there drinking cider with you and that great Norwegian guy! I hope his dental surgery went well....

They have done a good job with the markets. Years ago I used to get clostrophobic in there. Now they look spacious and well lit. I used to buy the second hand trainers. I'm size 11 and trying to buy new ones in shops is hard as they usually don't go up to that size. Ps was the blonde bird in the shorts thai or fallangs never saw her boat race

I have been to Ecstasy Lounge a few times. Met the owners, nice blokes. They told me some of the plans they have for the bar & if they do find a way to make it happen, it will become a very popular place to go to, especially if you have a big bunch of blokes. They already have a Dunk Tank where they get one of the girls to sit in & the blokes try & dunk them.

Had to visit Pattaya City Hospital in January 2020. Yep. Very early Covid situation. People were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately they had no private rooms available and so the ward I was in had about 12 male patients. Across the hall was same size ward for women. Be aware, they do not accept credit cards and of course did not take my US insurance. I had to leave a 70,000 Baht deposit. Most was returned to me after my 3 day stay. Total price was actually very cheap.

I used that hospital once, after slipping in my bathroom and crashing into the toilet. I felt sure I had cracked some ribs as I could hardly breathe. The staff were first class. I saw a doctor, had x-rays and was told the outcome within an hour and, as all was good, I was prescribed some painkillers. All this came in at less than my waiver on my insurance (£100) so I can recommend the place very highly.

Nice stroll Trevor ! I have been in Bukhao market several times basically just for fun and a glass of smoothie. Otherwise, for buying clothes, I prefer the Central festival and Terminal 21 even if it is slightly expensive but it is down to quality, taste and variety. Nonetheless, it is a kind of an entertaining tour particularly if you have a thai partner accompanying you ❤👍👍
