@@automation7295 beacause I have got my car hit by a BMW who fled the scene in 2009, another driver who dented my 4 days old Model S in 2014 another one who kept break checking and cutting me off for 16 miles in 2018 in infront of my month old Model X but while he tried to cut me off in the left most lane he probably turned the steering too much and slammed head on to the barrier. I got out gave him a can of pepsi said "well-played" and drove away. The groan on his face was like Mr. Bean when he gets confused.

Each new "unique" vehicle that is added is taking a toll on CPU for control, on RAM for Jbeam information (and everything really, all the vehicle data is stored in RAM) and VRAM for textures of said vehicle. But the RAM is more likely to cap than the processor itself. You need at least 32gb of ram and 6 cores to use more than 6-7 bots.

I may have an explanation for why the BMWs were driving so stupidly. I think for whatever reason they were registered as police and were attempting to chase you. Every time you got near one in front of you, they swerved back and forth as if trying to cut you off. They didn't seem to be as aggressive as normal police though, which would explain why they were not police vehicles. It is most likely an issue with the mod that causes the vehicle to be registered as both a normal car and a police vehicle.

I am really really interested in knowing how you got that many cars to spawn. Most I've had is 20, any more and cars despawn in the distance while i can still see them and cars will stop spawning in as fast as though there isn't enough space to spawn even when there is. Only way for me to home as many as 20 at once if when i spawn in each car individually as my personal car, then use a widget to enable its AI so that it doesn't despawn and respawn. Also, love the vids, keep it up 👍

Another tip, you can also spawn in cars manually then hit play on the traffic app to set a custom group of traffic with proper Role AI

I love pushing computers to their limits. Imagine Beam on an AMD Epyc. 64 cores, 128 threads... possibly have 256 cars since a single car uses half of a thread/CPU

But with more cores, the single core clock speed it slower, so idk if it would run well. Typically less cores that a faster work better for gaming. But beam OBVIOUSLY has some simulation aspects, maybe it would run differently. I have a 5950x, dual 3090s both liquid cooled, 128gb ram and a msi godlike board and the game runs about 40 to 65 fps max with 20 cars depending on area. I Typically drive in the American roads map, so maybe on Utah or west coast it would do better. But I'm interested in how it would run with those specs also.

I have a ryzen 7 3800x and I used to be able to run 16 cars at a comfortable frame rate, now if I run more than 8 it randomly crashes and I’m not sure why.
