Since it is 19 degrees here in Massachusetts, all I could think of is all the people in shorts and T-shirts! But I thought for the first roping in a long time, you and Cisco did great and so did the horses. Can't wait for the barrel racing, that's my favorite!

Crazy to me at 9th call back you didn’t get to rope. 😂 Very nice handles though. It’s neat to watch from that go pro view. In my head I’m going, “there” when you ride to position.

Good stuff Amry! Glad to see you and Cisco get in some time together away from working. That's funny to see Western Trails an actual arena these days. I remember as a kid our roping club would go out thereon Wednesday nights to rope for the "City Folks." Pretty sure I recognized someone in the crowd...how fun. I thought we were about to see a wreck there for a second with that stray still in the arena. Can't wait to be there in a couple of weeks!

@joanofarc133810 ай бұрын
Hey Amry‼️ B here, enjoyed the video…..but I must be missing something. I know this was not a World Series or a U.S. roping cause ropers were wearing baseball caps, but every jackpot I’ve ever roped in regardless of who put it on, the higher call backs rope last in the short go. Did they rope first in this one❓ I’ve never seen such Y’all paid yer entry fee and y’all should get yer moneys worth regards the number of spins, especially if y’all are showcasing sale horses and trying to get them jackpot experience
@cnahorses9 ай бұрын
Hey B!! This was not a World Series or U.S. sanctioned roping and because of that there was no dress code.... some of the ropings down here follow World Series of NTR or USTRC but others just run their own show and make their own rules. I notice that in the lower number ropings they rope high call back. But I agree I like when everyone that made it to the short go gets a chance to rope. Anyways we learned something new about this set up... we'll probably be checking out others before going back to this one. Thanks for coming along 🤠

Thank you!! They are both 6 years old and actually Loli Pop has a great start in the breakaway... we'll be hauling him to his first breakaway jackpot soon 🤠 Butters is easy going and happy to do any roping event. I'm glad they don't abuse the calves being roped anymore. In the 60s (when I was a little girl) they used to rope the calves, throw them to the ground and drag them. A lot of animal cruelty. Most of this was at rodeos.
