Idk if you're into Animal Crossing or if the Kyle suggestion is a reference to it, but you could name the wolves in your Minecraft pack after all the wolf villagers in Animal Crossing and eventually after the dog villagers if you get enough of them. I definitely second the motion to name the dog Kyle.
