I got Mahoyo last July on whim when I saw it on sale and loved it. And decided to get tsukihime when I was about halfway through, I think I got the last physical switch copy on Amazon 😅. And when I was seeing the credits type moon announced fate for PC. suffice to say I’m a new type moon fan ✌️😂 and I feel very lucky that I get to read all of these VNs one after the other. The wait for Red garden is going to be hard.

Love to see new love for TM! I was much the same when I got into Type-Moon, after reading Stay Night for the first time, I couldn't help but just immerse myself in everything out at the time. The Red Garden wait has certainly been a bit hard, I'm just praying SOMETHING, even a small teaser, lets us know its still steady in production. As long as it's just as good as Piece of Blue Glass Moon though, it will be well worth it!

This year is when i finally bit the bullet and made the great decision to try out Fate/Stay Night (i literally beat Heavens Feel today) and also the great mistake(?) that is downloading Fate GO (the character designs looked cool ok ;-;) anyways, now im looking forward for that remaster of Hollow Ataraxia, and will probably play Fate/Samurai Remnant and Tsukihime Next, wish me luck! Im really enjoying things so far ^^!!!

Tsukihime has the same vibe of Heavens feel except the psychological horror and emotions is cranked up to 100%, I highly recommend it. But i do recommend reading Witch on the holy night before hand thought

That's great! I was much the same when I completed HF for the first time with that feeling that you just need more like it! Looks like you have a lot of peaks ahead of you, haha! Samurai Remnant is such an incredible game, that completely caught me by surprise. And Tsukihime... There is a reason us fans have been so fervent about wanting the second part of the remake for a bit now. Just to let you know with FGO, is that the story starts off pretty... rough. Certaintly a hit or miss depending on how you feel about gacha and the game's ups and downs. However, FGO is one of those games that for me, has me completely entranced with the directions its taken with its story and the inspiring messages it has been able to convey that start to become increasingly strong with its 6th chapter. And as you mentioned, the character designs and artwork are so sick! Hope you enjoy everything else you're about to dig into! You're in for a crazy ride!

While I haven't quite dipped my toes into the Type-Monn franchsie yet (beyond the Fate anime adaptations and starting Tsukihime a while ago), it is interesting to hear everything going on. I def wanna read Maho if nothing else before the movie comes out cuz I'm def gonna want to see it, but I prefer reading the source material before seeing any adaptations when I can

If there is any VN that doesn't need a movie adaptation (cause it pretty much already feels like one) it's Mahoyo.. I'm the same way, especially when it comes to VNs. Nothing can quite beat the depth they goto, though since Mahoyo is a kinetic novel I'm hoping Ufotable do it justice! We're here If you ever continue to dive into the deep with us!

Yeah... It did feel kind of weird to not have anything in terms of wider TM news. Even the Strang Fake news which I thought was finally going to be getting into the swing of things just had episode 2 pushed back till "sometime this year." It is assuring though that we know we will be getting Extra's remake this year (Unless it somehow gets delayed...Which would make me cry) at least. Maybe there will be some sort of Type-Moon Ace to kickstart some interesting discussion? It was a really hype year and I don't want this momentum to end!

my biggest hope for 2025 is that not only do we learn when in 2025 that FATE EXTRA RECORD (which i hope is VERY Soon) but we can get an official demo that we fans can personally play as we wait for it. for me who never had a PSP and the original Fate Extra, i'm personally excited to get it cause waiting for this game has been hard. also, hope we get a DLC for this game that gives us a Berserker, Assassin or Lancer Class Servant

This might be overtly negative but this year felt like a nothing year for TM fans, unless you play FGO, but for those who adamantly hate FGO, it must have added more fuel to their hate, the problem being that, TM finally released all the main line Visual Novels, but that didn’t build up those fan bases or migrated them to a new fanbase, but instead it just dogged pilled hate on FGO because there was nothing for VN fans after they were done. No Red Garden or Mahoyo 2c instead all resources were on FGO and everyone hated it, also Nasu, has a problem of just not letting go of FGO.

I hope VN fans get what they want and I say this as Fate series and FGO fan, I want more Kara no Kyokai myself cause I like the lore and I watched the movies also most of my info came from YT videos, to me it's more of a oversaturation of Fate stuff in general instead of focusing on other type-moon projects.

Not at all, a majority of the main things TM are still releases in FGO so you aren't wrong in the slightest for feeling that way. It is a massive thing though to finally have these official releases on the western side, , building a more clear gateway for people to jump into. When it comes to the wider sphere of TM, I guess you say its more of a hopeful glimpse into what we can have for the future! TM is in this weird spot, where all of these new projects and promises were created, while at the same time coming up on the conclusion of Part 2 of FGO which has been going on for almost a decade now. With how much they've sort of pushed it back with the Ordeal Call chapters, it's safe to guess Nasu, TM, and Lasengle wants to make it the best it possibly can, which then puts everything else they've teased and advertised in a precarious spot. As much as I personally love FGO, knowing the end of Part 2 is coming later this is a relief not only in having this huge story come to a conclusion, but also a sort of hope that Nasu will take a step back to work on these earlier promises. Just one of those things where patience is important, but then again, the negative feelings are only natural due to the lack of communication on where these other projects lie.
