When I was a child I had a recurring dream of being a Confederate soldier. I was kneeling behind a split rail fence. I remember being tired, hungry, and thirsty. On the other side of the fence was a large grassy area and a large white house. I knew I had to make it to the house to survive. Grabbing my rifle I jumped the fence and started running toward the house. Halfway across the the grassy area I felt the burning of a bullet through my back. I am glad you have highlighted the Essene, despite your terrible pronunciations!. I have been, and studied, the Essene since 1979. The first thing to get clear, is the political stronghold the Jewish race had over the people at the time. People were forced to become Jewish, including King Herod, King of Idumaea. When he was spied drinking and eating forbidden food, he was deposed, and locked out of his capital, Petra. Jesus set the takeover of the holy land back by two thousand years, for which he was never forgiven. Mary and Joseph were ancient bloodlines. The Essene communities each had what they called, The House of Virgins, as marriage was an annual mass event, there the ladies dwelt until this time. It did not barr relations, so if a child was conceived, it was celebrated, the woman was fertile. Such is the virgin birth, and both Essene and Nestorian Monks were not impressed by Sauls interpretations, both calling him a liar.. there is so much I could put here, but know the Essene were of ancient lineage, withdrawing from society to preserve purity.
