She's the chicken expert momma and knows her stuff lol. I always enjoy watching her enthusiasm about her chickens. More children need to learn the skills she already has, their future is uncertain and being able to grow and harvest their own food is invaluable. I had silkies years ago just to enjoy them for their beauty, because they aren't good layers and the carcass will hardly feed one person. I'm old now and I have layers and duel purpose birds only.
