Ellen it was freezing here in southern illinois but i went out for a hour to take up more leaves . my 5 year old grand daughter had her christmas concert tonight it was so cute . i am going to start setting up my christmas table with all the silverware and christmas paper plates and a dessert area . i’m sure my grand daughters will spend the weekend with me ! i have instacart and love it cause it keeps me to my list and not buy other things by going in the store . to me it’s worth it .

Went to Aldis this morning and bought 3 cushion covers for $30. I only liked one of them, a tiger theme. Iove tigers. I actually had my photo taken with a white tiger. I gave the other two cushion covers to my daughter , as -they are more her style. .So we are both happy. Blessings Ellen.

Ellen, your Christmas tree is just so pretty! I love how you decorated it. ❤ I still haven't wrapped any gifts yet, but I have time. I am under the weather yesterday and today with a cold and sore throat. I rested yesterday and today and will rest tomorrow. I am watching my grandkids Saturday evening so my son and daughter-in-law can go to my son's office Christmas party. They are both looking forward to their date night because they never go out just the two of them, so I must feel better, at least some what, so I can enjoy my time with the kids, and their mom and dad can enjoy their time out together. ❤ Well, take care, I am going to feed my kitty cat, Figaro, and then rest and watch TV. A really cold day here as well. Had to go out and pick up my prescriptions, got some goat feed and had to stop at the hardware store. I really didn't want to go out but sometimes you just have to. After getting the animals fed and watered and my eggs collected, I pretty much just sat around today. Yesterday I had to work 5 hours helping my son, he butchered 3 hogs and I'm in charge of vacuum sealing the meat. Not hard but just a long day! I also laid a new area rug yesterday morning in my small bedroom in the AirBnb cabin. Tomorrow I'll do laundry and I'm making peanut butter fudge. The cake sounds delicious.

Low 60s tomorrow and rain 🌧️ possible in the afternoon. So, I might as well go get some wood 🪵🪓 at the getting place and cut up the bigger pieces I have and get that inside before the weather gets like yours. They're saying no snow ❄️🌨️ until January. I made cake brownies earlier 😊. I just add some cake mix to a brownie mix.
