Walter, Walter, "Walter Trout!" In DC- John Mayall kept saying that name after The HEAT had finished & you were backing Mayall ! Some Guitar playing Cartwheels & Acrobatics put me & my Girlfriend at the time- but I was younger & mo-bile so I said let's go to Baltimore & see this Guy's Solos & (well placed) Leads AGAIN! WALTER TROUT PUT MY LIFE ON THE ROAD OF GOING TO CONCERTS AROUND THE CONTINENT! THAT DC> B'more next night pack started what grew to DC>A.R.M.S. in NYC, Boulder to MD (4Tix & on the News) later>>PHILLY: Live AID (taped it All 'cept for Sabbath 🐄💨 Reunion to appropriately answer Nature's Call), DC to Boulder, CO (Zevon/Dead- my 1ST Show; later in Life: Bldr, CO>>DC to meet my 1ST Show: Zevon & tell him I'd done that reverse trip as #1. On & on. Trout put me on the road to Best Shows- nevermind the miles or in Canada (Band/Dead- we hoped Neil or RR maybe) Miles of Music! Started w/Trout playing w/Canned Heat & John Mayall 2 Nights in 2 Towns; that's 4 Shows! I remember that you were pouring, dripping sweat. Yeah Two double hitters in two nights & double barreled Trout blazing away for both! I hope they count the Ones we got on the road (Yoshi's, eg) as well. I told Jorma 'If it's worth hearing, it's worth having!' in my taping days. He liked that. Say one for the Liver. Best of all Good things to you 'two'!
